October 2025 Price Increases

Ohhhh…it’s much more “comfortable” in parks now versus 2015-19…because there is a huge drop in crowds where it counts (ie everywhere but 50 year old ride queues)…

But 2019 BLEW. Overbooked restaurants due to dining plan…those stupid prebooked fast passes that made the place a planning nightmare with windows…thick traffic and no rooms available?

No thanks.

Now the bob-ites will say “that’s what they wanted to do…”

🐴 💩

Not for a second…they just simply are bad managers that outkicked their pricing, pushed people away, openly microcharged into oblivion…and earned a declining reputation…

Because their cable empire collapsed from a revenue standpoint, costs went bugnuts in film, and Bob doesn’t have the gall to ever tell his Wall Street leash handlers to have reasonable expectations…

They wanted MORE of everyone paying for these things…nobody ever actively turns more business away. That’s a stupid thing to ever even consider

I expect to see these in abundance now in every fine QS establishment within the Kingdom

I have gone to eBay and purchased older Disney T shirts in very good condition and way cheaper
We go to Target, Goodwill, I think Wal mart and even 5 below has Disney shirts sometimes.

And what about the souvenir shops on 192! Their tees only last for one wear but they are real cheap! ;)

And also at home we play around with sublimation printing on T shirts, here is a design of mine -

APs, not much, food and beverage would have been hit by tariffs though less so than merch. Regardless of the direct impact, you have got to recover those increased costs across the board as much as possible instead of just the areas hit. Averaging it out helps prevent a shock increase in one area that will generally result in a massive pullback on customer spending on those products.

That in conjunction with eating through existing inventory while shifting the more easily moved production to countries that were not hit as hard should cover any shortfalls. At least that is what we have done with our stuff.

Honestly, I am surprised what we have seen so far wasn't increased more but that could be due to the corner they have backed themselves into with pricing.
Disney's pandemic excuse has been replaced by Disney's tariffs excuse ;)

When MKs cars land is late to open and is constantly breaking, Disney will use the climate change excuse ;)

So the timing is curious…

They tend to raise prices in October and February…
But I don’t recall this kinda “across the board” pirate tactics before?

…it’s almost like a quarter just ended and they’re lining something up? 🤔

…I can’t even

I don’t know how anyone can sell themselves on excuses that don’t wash for people that want all their money?

It’s like Stockholm syndrome
