Just switched to Board Walk

I think this is our third or fourth switch? We are now staying at the Boardwalk for the first time. My family won some gift cards, and we managed to score a package discount. We got the Boardwalk Deluxe Studio. We were originally going to stay in a preferred room at Caribbean Beach, but between the gift cards and the package discount for staying 12 nights, we only owe $3,336 for the entire package for all adults. I think this is a pretty good deal!

What are everyone's thoughts on Boardwalk? I've never stayed in a Deluxe Studio before. It's just three adults.

You will love the Boardwalk! It’s so close to Epcot, you will be able to see the fireworks at night from the resort! The boardwalk has night time activities going on. Have a great time!!

That's good to know! I wasn't 100% sure if many of those places closed after COVID. Thanks!

We absolutely love the Boardwalk area. Its a great place to stay and experience. For us, we normally stay at Swan and Dolphin when we are staying in that area. You get the same benefits as a deluxe WDW property, the same location, but i have found the prices to be about 25-30% cheaper.

I loved how close Boardwalk is to both Epcot and HS (it's an easy walk to either park). In addition, the Boardwalk itself can be enjoyable.

Everyone talks about the monorail bar hop if you are on an adult trip, but if you able to travel the walking paths, or use the boat transfers, you can have a very nice adult bar crawl (or even two) around Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin/Yacht and Beach Club lounges.

Boardwalk is significant upgrade from CB IMO. A little sad the left side is an abandoned retail zone, but it's still my favorite epcot/hs area option. I don't think many of the room locations are that bad, but maybe request close to the elevator - as some are decent walks...Hard to get, but request an upgrade to boardwalk facing room, as those are cool at night (if you dont mind a little noise).

We like the Boardwalk and have stayed there a few times. It's a great centralized location between EPCOT and DHS. If you like to karaoke and some of the best sushi on property, make sure to stop over at Kimonos in the Swan.
