I realized I never have eaten there on my last trip and walked over, looked at the menu, then went and got a Ronto Wrap around the corner. They need a new menu and more visual stimulation. Put a Rodain doing standup in there.
I’ve eaten there a couple of times on both coasts - the food is pretty good - but the service and vibe is very cold and uninviting. The whole “eat in a cargo shipping center” isn’t appealing to me and something about how the CM’s are setup is a big fail too. I can’t really explain what the problem is…. But it definitely is in the design.

The ronto wrap corner is much better on all counts.

From what I've seen on X, they replaced the cut of chicken in the tip-yip from breast meat to dark meat because it's cheaper, but it's just not as good.

I remember getting the tip-yip early on when the land opened and really liking it. Then I tried it again more recently and I couldn't even finish it. I thought I was going crazy with some false memory that I'd ordered it before and liked it.

That seems the Disney way though. Start out with good food and over time cut the budget and quality.

Put a Rodain doing standup in there.
But in his native language. He tells a joke in Rodian and looks around wondering why nobody is laughing.

The special part to me is the varying food sizes as the "gimmick". But its theme park food, so I don't know how "special" you can get if its not a table service.

So its an "Instagrammable" dish? That doesn't look like any more "special" than what you see at the DCA food festival other than portion size.
It’s offered year round, is an actual meal, they grill it on stage and is very customizable (beef/chicken/fish/combo of two/tofu with salad/noodles/hash/rice base with a choice of three different sauces topped with a sweet coleslaw and boba balls of passion fruit juice. It’s unique, not something you’ll find elsewhere, hardy and not complete junk (you can make it not as healthy but any combo is still healthier then most theme park choices.)
