As first timers Fantasyland in particular looked budget starved. I even took a photo of the huge expanse of its painted concrete floor with zero theming or landscaping.
It seems like all the Fantasylands built after Disneyland New Fantasyland refresh have a Bavarian town theme except for HK which used the carnival theme still seen in the older Fantasyland’s of WDW and TDL. Despite being 20 years older, Tokyo’s carnival theming looks more grand and elaborate compared to HK’s. Having only a single dark ride in the land doesn’t help.

with the soon to be open Moana’s Restaurant, Is there a possibility that after pixar entertainment area opened they will close Festival of the Lion King and transform it into a moana ride? And create a mini moana area in adventureland?

I have no idea but I doubt anything like this will happen until after the Spiderman ride is open.

Festival of the Lion King is one of the best live entertainment offerings at any Disney park globally in my opinion, it would
a pity to see it go

The space cleared out is not big enough for an E-ticket larger than TOT, considering they need open spaces to connect the paths from 2 sides. They even said there will be potentially more than 1 ride. I wish they have some extra scenes like Florida's but I doubt it.

So.. it's going to be a mini TOT? that's kinda lame. I was expecting smt like a ride system similar to BATM at epic uni with small drops and such, would've been sick ngl

Don’t know how it’s going to turn out but they theoretically have over $700 million USD to work with. That is a lot of money. Cars land was just a bit over $400 million and Pandora is $500 million, both of which are fully immersive and massive in size at over 10 acres. Since this money was supposed to go towards that groundbreaking Quinjet ride system, there is potentially a lot of left over money for projects outside Marvel.
