Gnarled Haunted Mansion Tree Removed

I don't think this will get much traction, but I loved the tree's unique shape and character.

I will try and find pictures of the tree, which once grew over and around the cemetery fence on the hill. But here's as it stands now.

Why? I can’t say I had any particular attachment to that tree but I do fondly remember that hill side having more coverage with more trees and ivy. The berm between Mansion and HM store is so bare you can clearly see the fence at the top all the way from the main thoroughfare.

I do agree the hillside behind the mansion needs some overgrowth and brush. It’s looking too manicured. But I think this is a result of the massive queue work last year. So maybe overtime the vines and brush will grow in
