End of July or August

Hi,

We’ve been over multiple times but never in July… potentially got a really good flight deal if we move out holiday from last two weeks of August to the last two weeks of July…. How much busier is it in July vs. August?

Thanks

The summer months are no longer Peak Disney trip months, but for this year the main thing to consider is how well do you survive the heat ? This July was mid to high 90's with "feels like" temperatures of 105-118.

Last 2 weeks in August is a ghost town. Many schools are back in session across the country as are all local schools
Paging @lentesta

Summer is no longer a "peak crowd" season, probably because of the heat.

@Matthew The second half of August is usually slower than the second half of July, but the difference this year wasn't noticable in WDW. Things like staying on-site and rope-dropping Early Theme Park Entry are going to have more influence on your wait times than dates, in that situation.

I'd say is no longer a peak season due to ticket prices ... 🤣

If you’re getting a good price in flights then run with it. Lately the park numbers are way down so as long as you aren’t bothered by the heat and humidity then take advantage of it. Once upon a time lots of people went during the summer months despite the heat because their kids were out of school or they were teachers on summer break and that was their only opportunity to fit in a trip.
I went one August and the heat and humidity almost killed me. I was drenched in sweat most of the day. After that I swore another August trip would never happen for me.

Thanks all.... we swapped flights for four of us from the UK for 1K (with return leg premium) and 100k airmiles and then managed to swap from All Star Sports to French Quarter for just £500 more.

In terms of visiting time thanks to the stupid UK school fine system were limited on when we can attend for the foreseeable vs. when we have previously visited.

What exactly is a UK school fine?
