Villains Land could easily have been built to the north of the river and Cars could have gone in DHS with all the other Pixar stuff.
Yeah it could have but this just gives more room for the land (which is what I would want for a land of this caliber hopefully) + free up additional expansion spots (leaving 1 for Frontierland etc)

I really don't see how losing the moving walkway had any effect other than actually having to physically walk up it. All the Vignettes are exactly the same.
Yeah but where are those camera tvs along the ramp that you could make funny faces for? That was peak themed entertainment.

I agree, under the current leadership it couldn’t 😉

I don't know if under prior leadership it could "easily" be done either - would it be more possible, sure but I think people through out "easily" too, well, easily b/c it is easy to draw it on a piece of paper... But at some point you ah e to look at trade offs and increased costs, etc - and where that trade off line is would be different for different regimes, but doesn't mean at any time it would be "easy"

If we get one semi decent ride, for me, that’s a MASSIVE improvement. I think, in my mind, they take these rides out of the park but I so much didn’t care for ROA that one good ride is enough for me
There are folks who(for whatever reason) did not like Rivers of America, the Liberty Bell, Tom Sawyer island with the caves and the fort and barrel bridge, that yes, a semi decent ride would be a MASSIVE improvement for them.

For these folks they should get a MASSIVE win in 3 to 5 years..

Only time will tell. There is no turning back now.

The current plan isn’t “easy” either.

Keeping the smaller island and riverboat would most likely have been a little easier.

Well sure, and doing nothing would have been even easier. The balance of investment and challenges vs return.

Scale of challenges and investment vs what the result would bring ... My main point was just b/c their is land beyond the berm doesn't mean that would have been "easy" to do, like they ignored the easy option and chose this path willy nilly

This is a good piece of intel from touring plans. Not sure if I agree with everything per se, but I do think they are getting rid of these things because they want to.

It's a little too quiet here, so what are we thinking for the second minor attraction?
Looking at the fun map, I was thinking that the other attraction was going to be a play area or something like what was at TSI at WDW because it kind of did look like that, but I wouldn't mind if it was a flat ride for families

Serious question, not being snarky. Are there any posters who are saying that Disney doesn't want to do this? I mean, they're doing this. So, obviously they "want" to. Is there anyone suggesting that they must do this whether they want to or not? And what all-powerful authority could actually be compelling Disney to do this, anyway?
