MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Thanks for doing this. That Speedway sure looks ta$ty.
I would have much preferred the Cars Road Rallye in the Speedway location...even though it has nothing to do with Tomorrowland or Fantasyland , neither has the Speedway....Unless they are saving that for something even better, but realistically by the time they get to building something there I will have aged out as far as the parks are concerned.....

I will say I like the speedway, but also excited to see what replaces it one day. As that area and the Storybook circus area are next for expansion (unless they finally update Adventureland already, however if they do I give it 50/50 Junglebook Aladdin and treehouse are gone)

There are three other Rivers of America around the world. There was only one muppetvision/is one DINOSAUR

I get that but a self contained attraction inside a show building vs the ROA that anchors a 1/4 of the park? And in DinoSaurs case one that apparently pales in comparison to its brother out on the West Coast? And Muppet vision is a show on a screen. With a few AAs. It’ll live forever on blu ray/ YouTube. You can’t ride the the steamboat at home.

With our luck, it'll probably be a trackless Wish dark ride or something like that.
Oh No! Please don't let them coninue to shove Wish down our throats...
It felt like a film born in a corporate board room by marketing executives.... Rather than a great story that led to a film.
I know a lot of successful films start that way, but Wish just felt like it was purely for marketing toys...and derivative of the better films like Encanto or Moana.....

Are they serious? I enjoyed the Muppets as much as anyone else, but for me they are the very epitome of an IP that can come and go when its time is up. Not sure what caused their sudden beatification in Orlando.

I am also one of the few who thinks Dinosaur and Indy are very close. With just a little tweaks Dino would be my preferred version of the two. Plus I can do Indy at DL and Tokyo, and he doesn't fit DAK. Indy in the jungle is not what DAK is about.

The RoA are an indispensable part of the MK. Uniquely, they fade off and blend in into their natural surroundings. Only in Florida. The one part of the world's busiest theme park that's tranquil and relaxing. And it's destroyed mainly for a pathway while the MK, and three other parks, have plenty of expansion plots elsewhere.

It's all pearls before swine, the current WDW visitor would decry the loss of her favourite limited edition 4000 calorie dessert over losing SSE.

I'm really sick of this logic that because the two share a ride track that means Dinosaur isn't worth anything. They're completely different rides with completely different stories, animatronics, and moods.

His point is true; there is only one Dinosaur. There is a completely different ride that has precisely zero of the things that I like about Dinosaur on the West Coast. If all I wanted was a car that rocked around a lot, yes, it would be a nice consolation, but that's not the fun part of Dinosaur.

Hey I’m just the messenger. Haha. But yeah I get that part that it’s unique and the only one in the world. Definitely gets a few points in its favor for that but I don’t think it’s close what Dinosaur does for AK vs the ROA for MK.

Thinking of WDW specifically, I agree.

- Muppet*Vision was the last one around and was Jim Hesnon's last work, etc - it has the most historical significance.

- The loss of the River changes MK a lot, but there still exists the original version of it at DLR

- Dinosaur is just terrible, so good riddance
