Thanks for the updated information!This is actually true but not really. As a DIY tradesman, I subscribe to a lot of trades websites. I have seen the myth debunked many times, but I also saw a study posted that claimed it would take close to 11,000 years to clog a regular 2 inch PVC pipe. And by clog, I mean slow the flow at all. The truth is that the pods were designed to break down in a regular washer. The regular washers now are low flow. You get less water in a regular load. The lie is that it can clog your pipes. The residual plastic spins out of the machine and into your pipes where there is a ton of water to sweep it through out to the sewer.
