I do respect that they remembered that Scooter has a rich uncle (he owned the theater the Muppets preform on) which is how he got a job with them in storyline. However there’s a part of me that can’t help but think that it’s crazy they went with Scooter for an animatronic and not Kermit, Fozzy, Gonzo, or any of the more “popular” Muppets.
He was largely memory-holed because they killed him off screen like 20 years ago. Deleted scenes from It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie explain he died and left the theater to the Muppets who discovered all the debt it had, leading into their situation of creating a template for Jason Segel to make a more successful story about greedy developers trying to destroy the Muppet Theater.

I don't..I think it's a great chance to see new AA Muppets...,I do wonder tho if they will be showing a pic of his uncle buying G Force records since he is sooo rich...For anyone who hasn't seen him ... Here's a clip..

The concept art looks promising. I just really, really hope they do not make the entrance archway all wacky and over-colorful. It's one thing to Muppet-ize the RnRC courtyard, but quite another to extend that to areas visible from Sunset Boulevard and the vaunted Tower of Terror approach experience. I'm cautiously optimistic they understand this, as did the team that designed RnRC and its fitting art deco -ish entrance archway.

Also, the unreality of The Muppets (i.e., we accept that they're puppets representing frogs and pigs, they're not expected to literally look like what they're representing) should make it easier to swallow the "pretend this is an automobile" conceit that always made RnRC feel cheap and un-immersive. I think this is actually the biggest upside to selecting The Muppets, and I'm curious how they'll lean into it.

EDIT: Since people seem unfamiliar with this... RnRC's courtyard is set back in a way that minimizes its visual intrusion upon Sunset Boulevard, with the main visible feature being the art deco entrance archway that was carefully designed to fit Sunset Boulevard's aesthetic.

The modern studios of g-force records have always clashed with sunset boulevard.

To be dead honest I always felt the decision to put RnRC right next to Tower was not a smart one since most of the more thrill seeking guests would simply walk between the two which is bad for congestion and really discourages them from exploring other areas of the park.

It's because the gen-z California crazies that write this stuff are completely divorced from reality and get all of their ideas from TikTok or from chasing the "modern audience" (which is code for sterilized generic slop as to not offend anyone). It's a problem across virtually all mediums right now, video games, movies, tv, etc. I know it's subjective, but the last genuinely well written Disney movie I can think of was probably Toy Story 3 or maybe Inside Out. Has there been a single Iger era ride that didn't have a boring and extremely dumb downed story? I know theme park rides aren't meant to be high forms of literature, but the writing and direction on Tiana's for example is borderline insulting to my intelligence. I'm so glad the SSE redo in 2020 was quietly shelved as Lord only knows how bad that would have been had it gone through.
Gen Z did the Pirates movie update in 2006? Honestly that’s impressive for a generation that was only 9 years old maximum at the time!

Ngl, really loving what I'm seeing here so far! I think the music choices are still important so I'm excited to hear those!
True perfection would be moving an updated Muppetvision or new Muppets show (for kids/not big fan of rollercoasters) and adding in the Piggy Fountain + a bunch of Muppet Themed food trucks with covered seating somewhere.

Well I mean TRUE perfection would also include the Muppet GMR but I pick my battles ;)

I like to imagine the food trucks being Swedish Chef, Miss Piggy, and either Rizzo or Pepe themed
PizzeRizzo On the Go?

Yes, The Show Writing has been pretty bad at WDI for a long time now. Remember Spaceship Earth 2007 infamous for it's incredibly condescending script will be 20 years old in two years.
I’d say I hope they update it soon but I doubt we’re much better off now than when Chapek wanted to add Moana’s grandma to the finale

They are the same.

They are also almost the same as Xpress Platform 13 in Walibi Holland: https://rcdb.com/769.htm, small difference in launch track length and speed but the main coaster layout is the same if you want to look up videos of that to see what it looks like when not indoors.

Does anyone know if Paris is a complete clone of Florida? Cause I rode it and it was more intense then I remember it in Florida.

I don’t want to chicken out but……
It's because of it being inside in the dark it makes it feel faster but it's not..

Yes, as bad as the current version is. The bones of a great attraction are still there. All it needs really are a few updated effects, maybe a few staging changes, a script that doesn't treat you like you're stupid, a great musical score and an actual ending and it would be great. The only way it can get worse than the current version would likely be the Chapek plan.
