I am not sure how much of a "win" this will be... On the outside it sounds great to re-claim this space that has been mostly shuttered for literally a decade or two... THat said, aside from a playground I am not sure there will be much that is very compelling. Especially with the short turnaround. YES, I am glad it is something...but it falls short of the Toontown type park addition they could have done....Where you are literally walking into Disney animation environments complete with a couple attractions etc...
but it is something... so that is a very small win.
Yes that is basically exactly what I said

Dark horse - New Pirates Trilogy. Depp back.

He’s not getting any younger so now is the time. Possibly a complete Pirates ride makeover at MK and DL. Possibly including Shanghai elements. They won’t be able to match the Shanghai ride building at 4 acres. But they may be able to expand from 2 to 2.5 or maybe push it to 3.

Extemely unlikely to happen. But would be nice if it did. And I’ll just classify it as a dark horse.

Please, no. The attraction has been messed with enough.

I guess on the plus side, Disney had a good quarter (and has a strong outlook for the end of the year) which might make them more bullish on pushing more capital expenditures (and consequently announcing such expenditures at this event).
I think they need to continue being bullish in their Parks and Experiences division. It is their most consistent area in terms of profit. Also, I don’t see UNI slowing down. I am constantly hearing rumors of Zelda, Pokemon and Wicked. I’ve also heard One Piece being mentioned. That particular property is about to surpass JK Rowling in terms of sheer number of books sold worldwide. If UNI steps up and adds that to a park that would be huge.

I'd love THAT new ride at Hollywood Studios...it's good enough on it's own that our version at the MK shouldn't be touched anymore (or reverted back to the OG and remove Jack/movie elements).

Detailed schedule is out - doesn't look like a dedicated parks/experiences panel so tidbits probably mixed in to other sessions - like could hear more of Villains Land during the Villains panel

Some fun sounding sessions though!

Oof. Not a great look for D23 when most were expecting at least some announcements or updates to experiences. Wasn’t expecting anything groundbreaking, but this has got to be very disappointing to most. Glad I skipped.
