Wow look at all the water damage on the ceiling drywall.
I can't even imagine what's growing in there, let alone in the rest of that building.

It’s always been funky in the original park buildings…hvac just wasn’t there yet

Don’t get me wrong. I’ll take any ride plussing I can get. Especially if this helps my terrible aim. That being said, this entire ride should be refurbed. This almost suffers from tourist trap issues. As a family, we still love it because we are a competitive group. However, the almost cardboard cutout nature of the show scenes is a bit embarrassing considering it is the year 2025. What this amounts to is that the best looking scene in its entirety is going to be the target practice scene, which is so silly. Cmon Josh, throw a little more capital at this one. It won’t break the bank.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong... but I don't think Buddy is replacing buzz... I think he is replacing the disco ball room right at the start of the ride.

Pretty certain we already know lol. OLC profit margins are most likely different from the Disney Corporation’s. And their commitment to quality is unparalleled. That Wreck it Ralph ride is going to be incredible.

I think it certainly fits better at MK than at Disneyland. It really needs to get replaced in DL in the next decade.

Monsters Inc current marquee is based on the old Circle-Vision one
That is looks so good and modern 50 years later is a testament to its design

Oh, I thought it was replacing the static plagued Buzz that looks horrible and is always broken in the queue. Interesting.
I do not remember this disco ball moment at all! I had to watch a ride through video. Is that disco ball scene still there? Or was it replaced at some point?
Maybe I am too busy fiddling with the gun to ever pay attention

I'll go so far as to say that this whole ride should be rethemed. It is way past its expiration date and really hasn't aged well at all. Like you said, major tourist trap.

for the queue portion, I would think with the new removal blasters and targets some sort of safety video or instructions might make its way in. As far as a whole redesign, I would guess probably not too invasive.
