they did that on opening night too, and within less than 5 minutes it started...its almost like that audio message is stuck.

MK All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

Last minute technical issues, they delay or slow down the parade to give to a few minutes for maintence to try to fix the issue. Tonight the encanto float didn't have audio.
The rest of Starlight was perfect!

First time seeing Starlight tonight. And we loved it! We got lucky as the park was pretty dead so we easily got a front row spot in Town Square around 8 pm.
So happy to have a light parade back. Energy in the crowd was great and we had no problem seeing costumes in Town Square.
Back to being a rube in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

I have seen the parade almost every night since it premiered and while the pacing has improved it’s hit or miss on what type of show you’re going to get. Main Street by far is the worst place to watch the parade as the blue fairy moves at a snails pace and the other floats end up in a traffic jam situation causing the music to bleed into each other. By the time they get to Liberty Square/ Frontierland the floats have distance between them (some nights considerable ) allowing you to hear the tracks independently but the dead space in between they need to fill with something as your just hearing the starlight anthem over and over until the next float eventually arrives. Other nights like Fridays 11 pm show once they got to Frontierland it was the Indy500 and they were all on top of each other. The music is catchy esp the finale but how much you actually hear of the spoken audio is different every night .

First, I think the parade is incredibly beautiful. My only feedback is that I wish the music was catchier, or perhaps I just remember it differently.
I can't recall the music once the parade stops. I still remember the tune from the old Electric Parade vividly. I feel the same way about the Halloween party, but I haven't listened to the soundtrack on its own, so I might be able to identify the tunes better with a closer listen. This is just my personal perspective.

Around nine floats is the norm for recent parades.

Interestingly the bubble wands work with PTN, I'm guessing the wands use the same tech as the paint brushes or magic band plus so I'm assuming that's why it works. Either way it's still pretty cool.

I’d argue that Wish and Frozen are not full on floats.
And of course…. The main issue is the lack of characters and dancers.

So is the music as muddy in person as it seems in the videos? You really can’t make out the distinctive floats musics as well as you can on other parades.
The soundtrack on Spotify sounds pretty good. But from the videos it doesn’t seem to translate??

The units run too close together because
1. There is not enough to separate them.
2. They are operating the parade like a cavalcade with no stops for crosswalks, etc. it’s just wham bam thank you….. umm… my lady.
No crosswalks for Festival of Fantasy either, right?
