It would be a really boring forum if everyone just said “this is Disneys best idea ever! Yay!”
What’s your take on this announcement?

I’m leaning negative because they had a decade to come up with something to replace Launch Bay and the best they could do is “let’s just bring the old thing back.”Why are you guys so negative about it? You guys complained that TMODA got replaced by a lame Star Wars Launch Bay and now DHS is bringing back The Magic of Disney Animation, and this is the thanks you’re giving to DHS? Geez guys!![]()
It’s the original show with an extra song and some universally derided CGI. Not a lot has changed. And Poor Unfortunate Souls is still very underserved.
Forgive me if it’s been mentioned, but I’m not going back 18 pages lol. Do we think Galaxy’s Edge will drop the timeline and finally allow legacy characters now that Launch Bay is going bye bye?
More importantly is the Companion Pet station right next to it!!Attractions Magazine has spotted something in the concept art on the side close to the Brown Derby side of the AC and that the old Mickey Ave/Dopey Drive directional sign that stood close to One Man's Dream is making a return..

AHEM
Wait what???? I must’ve walked by here several times without noticing it (after already being obsessed with the sign).Well, dont bite the hand here..That's where I first saw it on FB since I don't really use "x"
However, this was recreated before at DhS as you can see it stood right by the corner by One Man's Dream before it,was removed when TSL was being created and the Soundstage behind it was removed..

Well, I live in Ca, but I’m so thrilled for DHS! Because I’ve heard they used to have a hand drawn animated studio there, until Michael Eisner end it for his greedy deeds. Anyway, I think this is a step of the right direction. Oh by the way, for those of you haven’t seen Once Upon A Studio, here it is:It would be a really boring forum if everyone just said “this is Disneys best idea ever! Yay!”

Keep in mind it's mostly from streaming distribution..Nothing else..,So don't get your hopes up..I think with rumors of a WB-Comcast merger being in the cards, Disney might be anticipating Marvel being replaced by DC for Florida and might have Echo Lake earlier in planning than AC.
Nono. I mean a more in-depth merger if you catch my drift. Especially with the recent split in Studio assets and network assetsKeep in mind it's mostly from streaming distribution..Nothing else..,So don't get your hopes up..

Warner Bros. Discovery strikes new distribution deal with Comcast
Warner Bros. Discovery reaches an agreement for Comcast Corp. to continue carrying its cable channels, including HBO, TNT, CNN and Animal Planet.www.latimes.com
Still not gonna happen..Nono. I mean a more in-depth merger if you catch my drift. Especially with the recent split in Studio assets and network assets
I think we all know the regular posters here that would love this forum to be exactly that. If that's what some people are looking for, there are alot of facebook groups/subreddits/etc for all of the "sooooooo magical" pixie dust crowd to gather. It would be a really boring forum if everyone just said “this is Disneys best idea ever! Yay!”
I certainly hope the new Mermaid show got a higher rating than a closed theater it replaced!!!The new Mermaid and Villains shows are rated very highly (4.5 stars, much higher than the things they replaced).
