What if there were two helices at either end? They can't do too much with the Speedway spot now thanks to TRON.

Be Careful what you ask for...there isn't currently a "Flex Space" rentable event lawn in the Magic Kingdom....please Disney bulldoze the speedway and replace it with anything else. I don’t care if a grassy lawn with the superstar limo mannequins. Anything would be an improvement.
After Cars Land is built with the Cars attraction, frankly, I don't see the point of the speedway anymore.please Disney bulldoze the speedway and replace it with anything else. I don’t care if a grassy lawn with the superstar limo mannequins. Anything would be an improvement.
The cars attractions are a thrill ride and maybe a flat ride. Neither replace the speedway experience. After Cars Land is built with the Cars attraction, frankly, I don't see the point of the speedway anymore.
whats the speedway experience? waiting at an airport for a car to pick you up then idling in traffic for 10 minutes? The cars attractions are a thrill ride and maybe a flat ride. Neither replace the speedway experience.
A kid getting to “drive” a car in the magic kingdom park. Kids loved it in 1971 and they love it today. I don’t think that’s ever going to change.whats the speedway experience? waiting at an airport for a car to pick you up then idling in traffic for 10 minutes?
What does Florida have against trees!?!?
Yeah... because it's an iconic IP. It's not my thing but it clearly strikes a tone with the youngsters still.I’m all for it… but to be fair. Cars only survives cause of the merch it moves.
I wonder if it’s a safety issue to have limbs hanging over an attraction’s path?It was a walk-on after fireworks one of the nights I was there so I took a spin. At night it’s pretty enjoyable with the tron lights and all but there is 0 shade so it must be miserable in the day. What does Florida have against trees!?!?
It baffles me that 100’s of millions can be spent on tron and they don’t spend what… $300k to make the speedway on theme?
I’m not sure I follow? I was comparing cars vs. wreck it Ralph. To be fair your statement is related to its popularity. You are almost answering your own question.
It’s not in California or Paris.I wonder if it’s a safety issue to have limbs hanging over an attraction’s path?
You say cars only survives because of it merch sales. Well another way to say it is Cars only survives because of its popularity. Thats my point.I’m not sure I follow? I was comparing cars vs. wreck it Ralph.

Popularity and merch sales are not the same thing. You say cars only survives because of it merch sales. Well another way to say it is Cars only survives because of its popularity. Thats my point.
It’s not something up for debate….Not sure I believe that... if I'm being honest.
The little arrow in the quote links right to the post. No need to quote an entire post when responding to a specific part.Love how you don't copy the rest of my post to proof your point. Self serving much? lol!
Amazing that someone who’s been here all of an hour knows what everyone does.No one uses that arrow. No one. all good.
Well, speedway is definitely not thrilling. I'll give you that. It's still flat, though. It's not Autopia either. Disney has already decided on the route of replacing items in MK that DL will maintain. ROA is gone. There is no more point in keeping a very short track for speedway either when they will have a thrilling cars ride on the other side of the park. The cars attractions are a thrill ride and maybe a flat ride. Neither replace the speedway experience.
They have? So pirates, mansion, small world, dumbo, jungle cruise, WDW railroad, space mountain, buzz, little mermaid, tiki room, treehouse, big thunder, Tiana’s, Peter Pan, Pooh, carousel, teacups are all getting replaced? I must have missed that memo! HahaDisney has already decided on the route of replacing items in MK that DL will maintain.
