its a bit of a walk from the main building to any of the amenities , but is a bit quieter than the concourse rooms. It has a bit of a view of the boats traveling around, but IMHO you could do better. The Contemporary has an elevator problem to the 4th floor where most of the shopping, dining and monorail transportation resides. All of the elevators are on a demand basis and very inefficient.Could you please give me your thoughts , if you have stayed here. Many thanks
It depends on where in the Garden Wing you have a room. If you are in the furthest group of rooms it would be more of a walk. We always request the closest building to the tower, ground floor . We've never been told we couldn't get a room there. At the end of the day, you'll feel like you just walked from MK to Epcot. But the rooms are nice and you'll appreciate the proximity in the morning, at least.
It's a LONG walk. I didn't enter room preferences when I made the reservation so I was put in a room that was the farthest walk possible to the main building. It doesn't even have an inside connector all the way into the main building. Eventually, you're deposited outside and walk along a walkway beside the pool outside until you come to another door to enter. Obviously, you have access to all the amenities in the main building, including monorail. I'm just not sure it's worth the obviously reduced rate because of location. If you're staying in the Contemporary, stay in the main building.Could you please give me your thoughts , if you have stayed here. Many thanks
