Folks on here mentioned we should expect a couple wow moments, I'm curious if we saw them all tonight or not
In person the manta ray appearing from the ocean in front of Moana is a wow moment. The spotlights over the city of the dead in coco are kind of a wow. The facial expressions of the finale train as it speeds up (or seems like it does) to pull up to you.

Overall the videos do a poor job of showing some of the twinkling effects on both floats and performers. Its very cute and people visiting once a decade will absolutely love it.

What a strange effect. I feel like there’s a better configuration if they wanted them to appear and disappear that doesn’t make them look like they’re behind one way glass.
The effect is actually pretty cool in person (if you get to see it, seems to go off pretty rarely and the parade was going fast through Frontierland), but I think they could have blended in the effect/panels better. The straight lines of the room contrast pretty heavily against the otherwise very flowy float design. Could have been a little better, but a really creative, unique, and unexpected effect which was fun to see!

1 - Love having a proper parade again. Remember when Disney tried to make the guests the parades??
2 - Loved seeing all the face performers on the floats - but can agree with some of the comments about 'supporting cast' being a bit lacking/missing
3 - Floats look nice, but it's a tough spot to come up with real 'wow' moments anymore. I really liked the Moana wave float and I think the train engine looks very distinctive and cool. I didn't see any at first that were like 'huh?' - so that's a win IMO
4 - The ground element felt lacking.. old parades had a lot more chance for performers interacting with the guests I think. These 'cluster' elements between floats will probably be a lot more group choreographed, along with the performer being obfuscated in a lot of them means less of that 1:1 interaction I fear.
5 - Would have loved to see more of the elements like Tink moving freely.. as well as more of the throwback to the small moving elements the older parades had
6 - looked like a lot of technical glitches where Blog Mickey was filming at the hub.. but new stuff.. hopefully will get worked out
7 - Music was kinda indifferent to me.. hopefully something becomes a bit more resonating later with more exposure. But thank god it's not the pop alternate version or 'children sing our songs' non-sense they've done elsewhere. Yes to attraction specific tunes!

Trying to decide after one viewing which float I liked the most.. Pan? The Train? Moana?

Just praise to having a night parade again and a new attraction that makes you wanna go see it... not wonder what the..

Let's hope it's all up from here!

The Coco float also has Pepita move forward and open its wings time to time with it blowing smoke. Peter pan flying will be another wow moment if they ever get it functioning.

Disneyland parades are way more "hip", Magic Happens is a far cry from FoF, same I think can now be said for PtN and Starlight. All great, but all catering to different vibes
if by “hip” you mean better! Haha.

Magic Happens is my favorite parade I’ve seen from Disney - it’s pretty close to perfect.

People need to stop saying Disneyland is appealing to different audiences when they have something better. Just admit it! Haha.

That was awesome! What a masterpiece! 🤩Congratulations WDW fans! Now be happy!😏
Jiminy on the back of the title float and an Orchestral score. Definitely missed opportunities to include more. The Spectro whirly balls that Goofy, Donald and Minnie ride on in PTN could have been a great.
I feel like they leaned heavily torwards MSEP dreamlights instead of spectro, the opening audio is MSEP & finale is MSEP dreamlights.

Just left the park. I was overall very pleased with the show. A few things to know:

– The intro is incredible, a very nice blend of Main Street electrical parade, and Spectro.

-there’s a severe lack of ground performers or Little elements or small floats between the larger units, the parade really suffers from this. There’s nothing on the ground until after the second float (from what I recall)

-it feels like less of a spectacle, compared to the last two parades, possibly because of the lack of smaller elements, or that there’s just nothing crazy impressive. Spectro had the introduction float with the fog coming out of the bottom, Main Street electrical parade just had more moving parts to it, and the dragon breathing smoke. This has nothing that will really knock your socks off visually
— all the floats look great, but nothing will drop your jaw.

-the soundtrack is good, but you barely hear it. 95% of the parade is just the IP music. When you do hear the original soundtrack, it is fantastic.
