I mean, part of the point is it did not have a table service, it had to expand just to have that, and now another for a snack cart, while still having no indoor areas or shaded areas. But also, isn't RC a coaster as well? So really it's just a drop tower vs a dark ride shooter, and then a sit down restaurant now there (with no indoor merch). In an area that is roughly 20% larger than the other 3 TSLs COMBINED.
It’s certainly relevant to a judgement of TSL. If Disney added a poorly-designed land with a single spinner behind Haunted Mansion and shifted that ride to the new area, it would be deeply disingenuous to argue the land is great because it contains such a wonderful attraction.
DHS has plenty of places to expand... If disney turned Animation courtyard into a land with 4-6 B-D ticket rides... no one would complain about the attraction line up at TSL.

Oh absolutely and I know that! But I know some kids don’t want to do shows all day and would love to enjoy more than two vehicle attractions!None of the shows have height requirements, and they're all attractions too
I've posted about this in the EPIC thread... but my 2 year old didn't sit through Nemo on my last trip (he loved Lion King though). I can't imagine him sitting through all of BATB, Indy, Frozen, and Mermaid, but even if he did, that's still only 6 things in that park. (7 now because he is tall enough to ride alien)
I wouldn’t call it a coaster. It’s just a car going back and forth on a track. The rides take up less footprint because they are all flat rides than go in a circle. Slinky is just a circle there while at DHS it’s a 2 min coaster taking up a lot of space.

Yeah I would be perfectly happy if AC was used for a few smaller rides the whole family can ride. I really wonder why Disney does not see that as a lacking component to DHS?
TSL definitely has some layout flaws, but it has plenty of positives going for it.
TSL doesn’t offend me like it does some. Only serious critique nowadays is it’s too darn hot in the summer. I wish they had enclosed and climate controlled a few rooms in the SDD queue like we get on Everest. TSL must be a hard land to work in for the CMs! We just go first thing in the morning if we don’t have a LL in the summer. No way I’m waiting in those queues at 2 pm in August!
I mean, as lazy pointed out, they call it one. But whatever you want to call it, I wouldn't call a half pipe with tracks and an 82 foot drop a flat ride.
Yup, it's a shame that they didn't take into consider those folks that aren't happy unless they can feel their internal organs crammed right up to the entrance of their necks. I mean those children need to toughen up and suffer a little so grown ups can be happy. It's not a thrill for those poor adults, but it sure is for a smaller child. It's like a beginners sloop for skiing. You don't send them off from Black Diamond locations. It is a coaster just not one designed for alleged grown-ups.
Do you realize you’re talking about rides with a 1.2m height requirement? Thats the metric equivalent to 48” height requirements in the US and Disney’s highest height requirement.
