So I leave on Tuesday and they debut these on Wednesday. Sounds about right.

I have no idea as the original plan was to have both characters and droids wandering every day as part of the atmosphere.

Imma say it since no one else will. These things are lame. About as entertaining as watching a duck cross a road. Now, show me them recognizing colors or faces or interacting in any real, meaningful way and I'll change my tune.

I have to admit that I’m also underwhelmed. At first are they fun to watch? Absolutely. But will I be inclined to stick around for 5-10 minutes, possibly in 100 degree heat? Nope.

They’re doing their best to act like this is unscripted by involving guests, but they quickly pivot to something that is clearly already planned. They are certainly impressive technology, just not yet enough to be a long term offering.

The plastic bags followed by carrying them out was hilarious and embarrassing at the same time!

These are cute, but I never understand why WDI insists on bringing out these great walkable kinetic characters and then limiting their runs. Every land would feel much more complete with non-human inhabitants wandering about.

I would assume the parks ops side isn't as enthusiastic as Imagineering is for adding things like this

on-theme Star Wars storage crates? All thats left is to create them. Then scale it down as an RC toy and sell it for $60 bucks in a nearby gift shop.
