Yes, yes, I know we just got back. We went in the middle of December, then again for Christmas, then again in the middle of January, and now - our third month in a row…

I’m seeing Woody.

Ok, I guess I’m the only one! My first thought was Tink. Then, the more I looked, I think Peter Pan flying.

Btw, we got a message last night that the water would not be turned off until Thursday morning, after we checked out.

We each slept only 3-4 hours. No idea why, except that his alarm was set for 6am. I would normally take meds, but wanted to leave open the possibility of an early start. Guess that kind of backfired.

Since I was awake, I walked Brian down around 6:15. And since I was down there, and the front desk was completely empty, I had to inquire about late checkout. I got “waitlisted” in kind of a “don’t get your hopes up” tone. Supposedly mousekeeping will call me around 8:30. (I really can’t ask for more on this trip.)

They do keep the castle lit all night - I checked! It must have been around 3:30am. Then around 6am I checked again.

Then I tried to nap a bit.

Of course I didn’t nap! Who am I?

However, I did get the 8:06am monorail to MK. (Who’s a rope-dropper? ) Took 20 minutes to get there, but I walked into the park at 8:29. Followed the signs for resort guests, and there were several characters out and about.

You know my favorite!

I kept walking all the way around towards Liberty Square, but the open path stops at Peter Pan/Small world (until 9am.) It was 8:45, so I hopped onto Small World to kill time.

Upon exiting, the rope was gone, and I made my way to Tiana.

Walked to Tiana - getting my steps in! Beautiful day. Would I be one of the first?

As I walked, I saw 3,000 kids in blue t-shirts pass me coming from the other direction.

For real, there were at least 50-60 kids.

Mercifully, they stopped for a head count or something before getting in the line, and I blew right past them! Woo hoo!

Only to come upon this:

Was the line this long? The one for 7DMT sure was. But no one was moving.

A CM came over and said there was some issue, and they didn’t know when it would start.

Hey, I have limited time! So I doubled my steps heading back to Haunted Mansion.

Why does this look like gunfight at the OK corral?

Well, it was nice and sunny!

That was spooky!

Before entering the chamber, the app showed Tiana down. After the ghost visit, it showed 20 minutes. I headed back toward Tiana once again.

Oh, no! Are you kidding me?

And closer than last time. I’d never pass them again.

But I diiid!

They stopped again, thank goodness!

The sign showed a 10 minute wait - and it was!

But I was a single rider. Where did I end up?

It was worse than it looked. Hard to take a full body selfie!

I really wanted to ride it again right then, but it was 10am.

Any news on late check out?

I hadn’t heard anything, and didn’t want to push it, so I headed back - knowing I still had to pack and get out by 11.

No boat.

I quickly got back to the hotel, but before going to the room, I wanted to grab a Christmas ornament! I stopped into the shop and grabbed one with Mickey at the Contemporary with the monorail. Perfect!

I walked past the little confectionery counter singing to the CM: “Not gonna do it, not gonna doooooo it…” She giggled, and then something super hot caught my eye:

So I did it.

I went back to the room, packed the ornament (so I’ll have to take a pic when I get home) and ate the s’more. Very nice banana marshmallow bite!

Safe travels home. We are in a traffic standstill on 4. This has been the longest drive! Between construction and rain slowing us down. Google maps say we may get go room by 6. Maybe we will meet next time.

I was still wet. My shirt was wet. My shorts were wet. Everything was wet.

There was no time for a shower, but I washed up, got changed, finished packing, and got out right on time.

Tha hotness is real.

After leaving my bags with bell services, I walked out back. The pool has a decent water slide. Another time.

I got on the monorail. Somewhat spur of the moment, I disembarked at the Poly.
