Imagineering/ Disney has had a good number of misses the last few years. I was hoping, considering what was at stake, that this would be a moment to regain our confidence. So far it’s not looking great. Hopefully the show is good.

Oh, and replacing the Great Americans hallway with what looks like 90s Disney color puke and getting rid of the Capitol model? Also gross.

Yeah bad enough he doesn’t exactly look like Walt but Iger is narrating and that weird AI Walt audio? What was that?

I'm sorry it looks awful. I was pessimistic about this project from the beginning and I was right. I guess I'll reserve judgment for the full show but I'm not impressed whatsoever. It looks so off model to him which I find odd when all the statues they've made of him look good.

The motion looks super good — he kinda looks like a human being in a way that I didn’t expect. Agree that the audio sounds off, but to be frank, that’s the part I’m least interested in. Hope I get to see this in person this weekend

Do we have enough data now to understand that just because we think that they CANT fail on a project based on the stakes that that means absolutely nothing? And yet the keep on ripping out beloved, classic attractions that have stood the test of time?

Nicely fluid animatronic, but it does not look like him (I've heard others say cliff claven or 'da bears' vibes), and he seems to have sort of loony look in his eyes...and the neck is off/too thick or something

Weirdly it doesn't even sound enough like him, given I am assuming they used his audio track. Perhaps the AI clean up stripped away too much of that gravely folksiness that he had.
