Monday, June 30th, and Audrey’s 4th birthday cruise cont….!!! 
It was a beautiful morning with calm seas, and our last sea day before porting at Roatan the following morning…!!!
Sarah and Carolyn at breakfast about 8:40a, and Audrey with her French toast vegan pancake, regular vegan pancakes, and her pineapple slices and grapes on the side…!!!
My smoked salmon Eggs Benedict with pork sausages and spicy brunch potatoes, and…
Mr. “I don’t drink coffee” here, actually drank several cups at breakfast on this cruise…!!!!!
On a side note…
I haven’t had a single cup of coffee since we returned, and don’t plan to ‘til our next cruise…!!!!!
The ceiling above-ish our breakfast table this particular morning was very entertaining…

After that, Emmy, Audrey and Matt decided to participate in the next activity…
You colored your own sea creature, then a crew member scanned it and put it up swimming across the screens, with other passengers creations and generic Carnival ones…!!!
They really enjoyed this one, especially seeing their creations on the screens…!!!

Monday, June 30th, and Audrey’s 4th birthday cruise cont….!!!
After the fun with the screens, we wandered over to Grand Central on deck 7, which is mid-ship and the second floor (there are 3 floors) of Grand Central.
They were goin’ over upcoming shipboard activities and events, including doin’ a final Family Feud audition for the upcoming show on our Costa Maya night, on July 2nd…!!!
(Side note: we were not allowed to take video or pics of anything, beyond the sign/logo, before they started the audition, due to the contract between Carnival and the actual Family Feud.)
After that, we headed up to deck 16 (the lido deck) for some snacks…!!!
A pic of Emmy waiting, and some of our tasty snacks…Emmy and Audrey had the Guy’s Burger Joint vegan burger, fries and cups of lemonade again, Matt had a brat on a pretzel bun with mustard and relish, along with pieces of citrus cake, dark chocolate cake and German chocolate cake, and I had dark chocolate cake, citrus cake and carrot cake, with a cup of lemonade…!!!!!
After tiding ourselves over ‘til dinner, we headed back down to our staterooms, on deck 11, to chill and freshen up a bit…!!!
Next, we went back down to deck 7 to catch a family-friendly standup show, before dinner, in The Punchliner Comedy Club…!!!
It was a great show (unfortunately, I forgot to get pics of him
), and there was even some fun interaction between myself and the comedian (which he initiated - I am NO heckler ), that was kinda’ funny…!!!!!

At first glance the wing of the plane looks exactly like the fin of "sky shark". Cool photo though, huh?

Is that because of a population decrease or what? How strange that it would just stagnate like that. We have a housing crisis over here. So many people are without homes, but as you said, the average buyer is priced out of the market. The experts are saying we need to build so many hundred thousand homes per year to solve the problem by like 2030, but all the new houses they are building are luxury apartments and such, not homes for the starter or the average. You pretty much need 2 full time earners with good salaries to buy a house here right now. My husband has a masters degree in Engineering and we can barely afford our small 3 bedroom home that's meant for a starter. It's really bad. And the majority of houses are being bought up by people who want to flip them so they can get rich by selling them at exhorbitant prices. So the new builds don't help the housing crises. I saw that one city passed legislation that only like 15% of the new builds could be bought by people who didn't intend to live there themselves, but that's just one city. People are stuck in relationships because they can't afford to leave because they'd have nowhere to live, students with masters degrees end up living back at home with their parents because there's nowhere for them to go. They said last week or so that the cost of an average starter home right now is half a million, which...who has that as a starter?

Hi @MinnieM123 ! I am up early because of jet lag. I went to bed at 9:30pm last and woke up at 4:18am. I tried to get back to sleep but at 5am I gave up. How has been your summer thus far?

Glad you all made it home safely.
It's hard to adjust to different time zones. I'll bet tonight, you'll sleep your usual hours.
No plans for summer -- not a hot weather fan. All the other seasons are fine with me!

I am tired of air travel and am thinking next summer I would like to plan to drive my wife and I out of NJ by heading north/ north east to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Nova Scotia, etc. Any feedback or suggestions regarding this very casual and not yet researched idea? Also Acadia National Park is up that way. Even the Candian province of New Brunswick. I would happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this idea but I am starting with Minnie because she lives in Massachusetts. @JenniferS would be a logical resource for me as well, please. Thanks. (Back to my post here to add that I just posted my future travel question on the appropriate forum on Tripadvisor. If anyone here wants to give feedback I'd be grateful but there is no pressure to do so. There will be plenty of people giving me feedback on Tripadvisor.)

Steve, because you and your wife know what you like to do on vacation (and you also travel in the summer), I thought the best thing was to list vacation web sites below (for all those states you mentioned above), that might be helpful to your own preferences. (I've never been to Nova Scotia, so no suggested web site.)
