Trip Report Tu in ‘25

Ever just the same
Ever a surprise

These lyrics came to mind when I thought about my trip reporting. (I also thought, Here we go AGAIN but the above sounds much more poignant.) It’s now that time of year when my Disney trips are frequent. And this Disney Senior loves sharing her visits with y’all because your engagement makes it fun!

Yes, there will be stuff that’s the same. Yes, there will be surprises (too soon for the reveals). And yes, there will be sun rises!

Spring break countdown is at 4 days.

I totally agree with you about certain DL that blow WDW out of the water! I'm so jealous that you're riding BTMRR!!! I love the World of Color show. Looks like you're having a magical time together!

I haven't been to DL in California since I was a baby, so I can't speak to that, but DLP's small world and pirates are way better than WDW. Phantom manor is different, but kind of six of one half a dozen of the other. If DLP had a people mover, soarin', and better food options, I'd be content to go there most of the time.

Update - ride reopened.

We got back in line.

Four people away from boarding, the ride shut down again!

Alice is my favorite dark ride, I always rope drop it at DL. One time when I rope dropped it I was the 3rd guest on and I rode it without any sound! They forgot to turn the sound on! When my caterpillar got to unload they asked me about the sound and I confirmed it hadn't been on and they sent me around again, this time with sound. Sorry you got the evac, hopefully another go is in your future.
