Yes, yes, I know we just got back. We went in the middle of December, then again for Christmas, then again in the middle of January, and now - our third month in a row…

Trip creep…booked All Star Music for this Sunday night before we check into the Contemporary on Monday.

Got to the Brightline station early to take advantage of the Premium lounge (splurge.) Cute little booth, all the beer & wine you care to enjoy, and sandwiches (including pulled pork! ) Let’s goooooo!!

Train departs 7:40pm. We should be good and lit by then!

Plus drinks are included on the train. (and snacks, but they’re probably lame.)

Good thing we brought our ponchos!

As I’m typing this, we got our room ready text. Is it frickin country again? Checking…

Fffffffffffffffffff it’s country again!!

I had no intention of drinking a tequila already. I just asked for a Don Julio, and figured I’d throw it into my bag. Nope! They “have to open it.”

And of course I elbowed Brian awake because we are not missing a free drink.

In the Uber to the ASM!

Our attendant on the train was awesome in the beginning - then forgot about us. I asked for popcorn (one of the “snacks”) but it never came. She did bring the obligatory “meal” (sandwich or salad.) B had the sandwich (slider sized.) I thought I’d behave after all I’d eaten in the lounge, so I got the salad. It was nearly frozen, especially the quail egg. I gave half of the egg to Brian, and he said it was gross. I didn’t bother with the other half. Oh, well, whenever our popcorn came, that would be cool- and maybe another drink?

Not that I really wanted another drink, but you know how it feels when you start, and it’s wearing off? Meh. She never came back with anything. We didn’t make an issue of it.

On the plus side, we arrived 15 minutes early, and our Uber arrived 4 minutes later. Woo hoo!

We’re going to ask if he can drive around back to country hell when we get closer. (Pool bar & QS will have just closed.)

Monday morning: how wet will it be? Also: who cares? We have MK reserved, and a nearby meal booked at 11:20.

I didn’t remember to bring Kylie’s Mickey.

I thought about it earlier today, but didn’t want to disrupt where he sits in our living room until the last minute (like always.)

Brian got home from work and I from the gym at roughly the same time, and I called the ride to the train station and rushed out.

Looks like cloudy but little to no rain until evening. (Of course, it’s Florida, anything goes, but looking pretty good!)

Also looking pretty good: I woke up at 3:47am. Naturally, the first thing I did was check my Disney app for Geo-82 reservations. Score! 11:35am. Of course, when I tried to book, up popped this message:

Buh-bye, Whispering Canyon at 40% off! (Whoops.)

Then I was wide awake, and spent the next 30 minutes rearranging things. I also realized there was a 7am AP preview for Test Track today. Could we get two big wins in a row? I put on a podcast, set up my pillows, and wondered if I’d fall back to sleep.

I did fall back to sleep (thank Gawd) and woke up at…7:01. Then it took me 4 more minutes to find where in the app to join the virtual queue. It was too late.

Not that it’s a huge deal, but we have another shot at 1pm if we’re still in Epcot.

Currently in a Lyft to the Contemporary. No room ready text yet, but I need to go to the front desk to make a payment with points. Maybe they’ll find a room(?)

If not, we’ll drop our bags and head to Epcot.

It wasn’t ready. All good.

It looks different when you’re staying here.

The very nice CM asked if we were celebrating anything, and I said not really, but technically tomorrow was our “paper anniversary.” She reached over to offer us buttons, but I politely declined. I said we could do that in September. But I did accept her offer to prioritize our room ASAP.
