so Megan put the remaining $30+ towards the lunch of another family…!!!!
Like the other 3 theme parks near Orlando
Here's a fun (I didn't say, excitingTo be honest, the only thing we would be interested in visiting anywhere in the Central Florida area, at this point, would be the Kennedy Space Center.
But that’s, essentially, just a day trip, and we’re certainly not going all the way to Florida just for that. Especially since we have the Johnson Space Center a few hours down the road in Houston, that we’ve visited before over the years, and is very extensive.
There is really nothing else in Florida that interests us.
Our 3 kids read some of the Potter books and we took them to some of the movies (which I always napped through), but they never really got heavily into it, and Carolyn and I definitely didn’t.
Epic has nothing we care about, either, etc., etc., etc.
Plus, we have Schlitterbahn down the road in New Braunfels, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld San Antonio, just a bit further down the road.
All less than 2 hours away and easy day trips, or you could combine the 3 into a long weekend…!!!
Regarding WDW…
We’ll probably reevaluate again at some point (5-8 years down the road), but, for now, we just can’t care about a company that we feel doesn’t care about us.
Here's a fun (I didn't say, exciting) attraction for the whole family, not far from WDW.
I think it was "at least" 25-30 years ago that I drove up there, during one of my WDW visits. Gotta love those historic, FL attractions! Back then, a lady that worked in the gift shop also gave tours of the orange groves, and she drove me around in a golf cart. At the time, there wasn't much to see in the groves, only because they had either a (drought or flood damage that year). Having never visited an orange grove before, I still enjoyed seeing something different. The tower was
In this article, I also enjoyed seeing an old timey, nostalgic brochure of the Tower.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
That photo of the two of them with their (Mocktails . . .) is hilarious!!Emmy and Audrey also enjoyed their Pina Colada Mocktails…!!!![]()
Last video I saw the citrus tower was now overlooking a housing development, unless there is more than one. Oranges are not the big deal it once was in Florida. There is the big processing plant a few miles south of WDW but I think they have there own orange groves and I don't remember seeing a tower there. That was probably 20 years ago as well. It was a very pleasant orange blossom scent wafting in the air as I drove by it on Rte 27 in lake Wales. Here's a fun (I didn't say, exciting) attraction for the whole family, not far from WDW.

Hope you're mistaken about the "new" view from that tower. Back when I visited, it was fairly rural around that area.Last video I saw the citrus tower was now overlooking a housing development, unless there is more than one.
