First off, they have restricted it to those eligible for perks, what was “blue card” holders when they actually issued cards.

Assuming you qualify, then you can go up to the terrace to watch the fireworks about 20 minutes before hand.
Or you can go and ask to be put on a waitlist for the Lounge from about 6pm.
If it’s busy, your best chance might be after the fireworks are finished. You can ask when up on the terrace.
Only those that have either purchased 150 points directly from Disney or those resale members that are grandfathered in. Must have the DVC blue card, which would indicate a Y on your phone. They have checked in the past to ensure only authorized people can access it.How do you become eligible?
