I think if they can really make this new area look like some version of Grizzly Peak with streams, waterfalls, large trees etc than it will help most people will move on. The problem is you are going to have to get rid of so many mature trees and they will undoubtedly be replaced with fewer and much smaller trees. With so much loss of water, shade and mature trees it’s going to be hard to not feel like the “wilderness” part of Frontierland didn’t get a major downgrade. In no way do I think a Cars D ticket will offset this. This will most likely be viewed as a pretty big downgrade until Villains land opens up. Villains land presents its own set of challenges as well. I’m not sure Disney is going to deliver the type of PG 13 Villains land most people here would want. That new show at DHS doesn’t inspire much confidence.
