I’m not sure you understand what “subtraction” means.A reminder that when these projects are complete:
No subtractions in the long term, but actually 11 new attractions (Zootopia 3D, 4 Tropical Americas, 2 Monstropolis, 2 Cars, 2 Villains) replacing 8 attractions (ITTBAB, 4 Dinoland including Primeval Whirl, Muppet Vision, TSI, Liberty Belle)
- MK will have an additional 2 attractions as 2 Cars + 2 Villains are replacing TSI and Liberty Belle. Plus, Tron literally opened 2 years ago without replacing anything. That's +2
- HS opened Little Mermaid to replace Muppet Vision's capacity (Villains replaced Lightning McQueen so was just a swap) and when the Door Coaster and Monsters Show opens, HS will have its largest attraction lineup since September 2011 when Journey into Narnia closed (20 attractions in 2011, 21 attractions when Monstropolis is complete). That's +1
- AK's is replacing everything with something new, with Encanto having a larger capacity than Primeval Whirl. Whilst we may be down to 19 attractions in 2026, we'll be back to 23 attraction in 2027 (the same capacity as AK had in 2024) - That's =0
Subtraction - less thanI’m not sure you understand what a “subtraction” is.
An excellent way to boost capacity is not to subtract capacity when you build anything new.
They are subtracting capacity before adding any. If your goal is to increase capacity, this is counterproductive. It is also something they do regularly only at the resort that has the most expansion space.Subtraction - less than
That's why I said in the long term is isn't a subtraction, as at the end of construction, no park will have less attractions than before construction began
The need for attractions that don’t constantly run at full capacity has been explained repeatedly. Some posters want an utterly miserable park experience.Capacity is useless if people don’t want to experience the attraction.
I can call an open field an attraction with 10,000 capacity an hour. Pretty sure nobody wants that.
That role is filled by CoP, TTAPM and Swiss Family at MK. (Although I wouldn’t mind if Swiss was replaced). The need for attractions that don’t constantly run at full capacity has been explained repeatedly. Some posters want an utterly miserable park experience.
Accessible as in ADA?It means exactly what it means - it was the most accessible moving (ride) attraction at Walt Disney World. I think.

People utilized TSI and the Riverboat. You’re being silly. The need for attractions that people don’t want to experience? That’s not good for anything.
It’s A Small World is an attraction that doesn’t run at full capacity. TSI and the Riverboat are attractions people actively avoided.
There is a huge difference between the two.
I'd argue it'd be a missed opportunity if any of these themes and concepts weren't recycled at the new Lakeshore Lodge. As it stands if their pool areas aren't a River Country resurgence, WDI has truly lost their way.
And they’ll all still have insufficient capacity.Subtraction - less than

What big picture? Seeing a boat somewhere else has no bearing on the spatial design of Frontierland and Liberty Square.
Nonsense. That poster just showed that they adding a net ***THREE*** attractions around the entire resort over a decade. If that doesn't show that Bob and Josh understand capacity problems at their amusement parks...And they’ll all still have insufficient capacity.

The design of the space isn’t rooted in some novelty factor. That LB/RoA had less of a novelty factor to WDW guests because of other similar experiences available, unlike other castle parks.
You may be right about spatial design, but we wont know until Cars and Villains land opens. I joke about Cars area, but I think it will turnout better than some fans expect, and Villains land even more so.
