What happened with the prequels was not amnesia, it was an amazing kids cartoon that recontextulized them and was adored by kids who then grew up. I don’t see any plans for something similar currently in the pipeline for the sequels.

You think the clone wars had that much resonance?

Maybe. It is an excellent show…but the source material was still bout 90% stinkers.

There really is nowhere to go with the DT…because if so many fundamentally stupid mistakes. we all knew Lucas was kinda crazy and not really a great director…but the mouse was supposed to know how to keep a gravy train on the tracks…not plunge it into the ravine

On another note…I had no idea that gareth Edwards did the Jurassic movie…looks like it did decent by today’s standards so far?

But it makes sense he is…saw he had been popping up in interviews of late…including saying he’s done with Star Wars without quite spitting it out totally…
I hope he does someday. He tried to go an interesting path…but you can’t fight clueless management

Yes, look at all the characters who have crossed over, the show was brought back to much success and almost every 20-30 something Star Wars fan will source that show as one their first experiences with the franchise. Us 90s kids had Batman: The Animated Series as our prestige cartoon series, 2000s kids have the Clone Wars.

BTAS…was elite

It looked weird at first…but I was admitted too old to really get the fuzzies from it.

Similar kinda draw on xmen/97 that we have seen.

Clone wars is very, very good. Probably top to bottom the most cohesive stories since nyub nyub…

I was always assuming the “crossover” was more filoni being around it…and that has worked in some cases.

Disney has been in damage control since 2017…they’ll never admit it…but it’s a fact

I've tried watching Clone Wars three times. I understand kids who grew up with it, but don't understand how any adult would enjoy it.

Watched it when i was “very adult” not too long ago. If you take the prequels to be…”this war is stupid…like how do wizards not figure out who the bad dude is every day?”…which I don’t know how an adult could NOT have done that?
…the clone wars gives more tactile depth to it. Kinda gives it a hopelessness and “duty” to it that is signature of wars…they’re all ultimately a waste and a lost cause.

Give it another shot if you have the time.

Avoid the droid/threepio episodes…those just suck.

The first season is very much a kids show, it gets dramatically better after that.
I would agree…what’s also good as it goes on is the Jedi construct they build…makes them very much more multifaceted than “good side/dark side”

Really well done…and laid a foundation for future stories that the man boy directors completely $&@!ed up…

It really wasn’t hard.

I feel Star Wars: Galaxy Edge needs a third E-ticket anchor. It feels empty with two head lining attractions. If I am going solo, Smugglers is out of the question. Rise of the Resistance seems to be too popular to score a LL. I can’t get past of wait times within stand by. So I skipped that majority of times.

I really like Rise of the Resistance. But is my top 10? More like it on the 13th favorite list of favorites. TBH it is very hard to really elevate what would truly be my top of MOST favorite within Disneyland. Disneyland is grounded with good amount of attractions.

You guys also miss all the support toys that came out during the Clone Wars. Some of the biggest vehicles where released back then. Anakin was far more fleshed out when he was prequels. Ahsoka became hugely popular. It was a different time then watching the show now.

That's because the rest of the park is compact as can be- attractions are back to back to back.

Then you get to Galaxy's Edge and there's just.... nothing.

In its DNA, Galaxy's Edge has no place inside Disneyland.
It would have fit better inside DCA - for sure

But it wouldn’t matter if they had done a better job if they would have put it in warehouses in Van Nuys and BVL

There's a better way to watch the show than release order. There are different ways people group the episodes together, but the ultimate list was the one I went by. For example, it starts with season 2 episode 16, then season 1 episode 16, followed by the theatrical movie.

Ultimate Episode Order

Star wars is fine, but the way they designed Galaxy's edge doesn't fit inside Disneyland. It's too open, too empty
GE is great, but they really thought the lightsaber workshop would count in people's minds as an attraction (like Olivanders) and if you don't drink, you really don't have any reason to go in the Cantina.

While I agree it needs another attraction (how hard would an omnimovier Babu Frik's Shooting Gallery be?) I'm generally very pleased with it as is. There are other lands in much greater need of attention.
