Trip Report Let's Meet Up in Disney! Where Else Would We Go?

It's the night before Crystal and I fly from the Lehigh Valley to Disney, and we couldn't be more excited. Maddy applied for the Disney College Alumni Program and is currently spending her second consecutive summer making magic in Disney. Last year, she worked at Be Our Guest. This year, she works with the characters, mainly in Hollywood Studios, but she's been in Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and tomorrow she'll be in Magic Kingdom. She finished her second year at the University of South Carolina, and will be starting this fall at Northen Arizona University in Flagstaff.

Brayden graduated from Florida State University just a few weeks ago and is currently working in Peoria, Arizona. So what better place for all four of us to meet up? Plus, Brayden's girlfriend, Bella, will be joining us for her first trip to Disney in a very long time!

Looking forward to meeting up with Madelyn tomorrow, and Brayden and Bella July 2.

Currently getting ready for Sip Savor Sparkle at the Contemporary tonight. Crystal and I did this last summer and we loved it. Going to celebrate the two graduates tonight.

All five us will be together the next two days. Crystal and I are happy to have all of us together these next few days before Brayden and Bella leave on the 8th.

Only unfortunate thing right now is the rain. Hope it clears so we can enjoy the observation deck on top of the Contemporary.

Sip Savor Sparkle was fantastic! We all had a great time. The three gentlemen who work this event are top notch. It's worth it if you are celebrating something special. Would love to do it again in the future.

Late posting today. We spent our morning in Animal Kingdom

Had lunch at Tiffins. Crystal and I had been here a few times before.

Made our way to Magic Kingdom for the after fireworks dessert party, but first we met Mickey

There was nobody in line. In fact, there’s been very few people in a line we’ve gone to so far.

We made our way to Haunter Mansion and Jungle cruise. Along the way, we saw the Tom Sawyer Island cast crossing together one last time. Other CMs lined up along the walkway cheering them on. It was cool to see. The line for the final riverboat ride was back to Tiana. Afterwards, we went to Space Mountain

It was amazing having the post fireworks dessert party with Happily Ever After starting at 10, and park closing at 10. We walked out to an empty Main Street USA as we were one of two families still at the party at 1130!

We made our way to the bus stop and walked right on. What a great day today. Tomorrow is the last day for Brayden and Bella We will see them both back in PA in a few weeks before we head out to AZ to get Maddy set up at NAU in August. Already planning Thanksgiving in Arizona!

Good morning from Epcot

It feels hotter and more humid today than it has the last few days.

Getting a drink at Geo for the first time before lunch at Coral Reef

A few bits of aggravation this morning. I’ll discuss later as it’s the last day all five of us are together.

Geo 82 was nice to check out. Nothing special. Unfortunately, we were seated at the bar (which normally I enjoy) and didn’t have a view of Epcot. Our bartender was excellent. We each had a drink and shared a charcuterie board.

I’m not a big liquor guy, but I love my beer. Wasn’t much of a beer selection, but that’s normal here. I went with the champagne of beers since it was a fancy place
