Why are we doing this again so soon?

What was Disney thinking closing Muppets, TSI, Twain, Dinosaur, and Bugs in the course of a year? Even if the AK update still has me optimistic, that’s just an incredible amount to slice out of the resorts at once.

WDW could have given us one or two actual expansion projects to counterbalance the closures. Before D23 our insiders were talking about new builds for Moana and Coco in MK and Lion King in AK. Nothing. It’s just such a clear pronouncement that management doesn’t think the parks mean anything beyond money.

Iger decided to smear his personal California Adventure all over the Orlando resort on the way out the door.

In my opinion, I think this was all planned to coincide with the opening of EPIC so when the declining attendance numbers come out Disney can blame it on all the construction being done at WDW and not the real reason…… EPIC.

I mean we know why all of this is closing, because dirt has been moving backstage and its now moving on-stage.

correct, but don't think anything is closing, closing next month. Have Boneyard in September and then Dinosaur in 2026 (probably January) ... think that covers everything that has been announced so far - maybe something new will get announced or hinted at at Destination D23

Yup! BULLDOZED! They have bulldozed thousands of trees just to make room for construction equipment to ruin Frontierland and the Magic Kingdom forever! Disney needs to stop preaching about conservation and making us use paper straws that fall apart before we finish a drink when they are getting rid of so much natural landscape and living trees!

Had no idea you could pilot the Liberty Belle until a few years ago. Doesn’t seem to be as well advertised when compared to piloting the Mark Twain at DL.
