<hot take>

The July 4 EPCOT tag and the MK July 4 fireworks shows are still both hot messes. There is nothing about either that would inspire me to want to see them in person.

That is a hot take. I cannot speak specifically to the Magic Kingdom display this year as I did not watch it in person. It looked decent on YouTube. Epcot on the other hand, look much better in person than it does on WDW magic video. It was clear night and the Epcot fireworks did not get hazed out this year.

I really don't think it was a hot mess. Not sure sure if it's ok to mention the blogger JoJo, (but I just did), but he captured the finale very well.

Mother Nature adding a little extra to last night's EPCOT show.

Looks like it was a very good night…low crowds…weather not oppressive.

And @monothingie left me in New Jersey to rot 😡
"low" Crowds is all ralative. It wasn't peak season or holiday type of busy for sure.

That one guy who is a real.... pro at this, literally has daily YouTube videos about how about how the wdw parks are a complete Ghost Town. It must be getting him clicks because the new "news" video is literally daily.

There was definitely a lack of holiday /peak level crowds on July 4th. Which to me was nice. But I also wonder what the average tourist perception was. They probably thought it was packed still.

They probably thought it was crowded but manageable/not miserable.

for Saturday July 5th - Main Street is a literal ghost town.

I was able to get off the Broggies train at Main Street, casually walk to Starbucks, order and receive 2 drinks, and then casually walk back to catch the Lilly Belle train.

Saturday July 5th should have been at capacity for MK. It’s empty.

I’m expecting Disneyland to take the #1 spot this year unless numbers are adjusted.
I thought so…just checking

So Disneyland (April) and wdw (May) were no where close

Disneyland wasn’t maxed out by any stretch…but “healthy” for sure (and still way easier to navigate due to P-poor planing O-town)…

Not the same in Florida

Really for 3 years…and sporadically more like 5+

Tumbleweeds

And holiday weeks too…hot, cold…Christmas, spring break, doesn’t matter

Still the most interesting thing going on in the weeds…that doesn’t get proper attention

DLR is selling APs again. They’re slow. Maybe not as bad as the swamp, but it’s not good.

Humidity was fairly oppressive. Even by orlando standards. Around 94% when I checked
I see a picture of someone with an umbrella. Rain can make the parks feel pretty miserable but it does tend to clear them out a bit.

I’m glad we can visit in early May and November.
