The Dream Garden: A Dreamwork's Experience
Guests have seen Dreamworks films from far and wide, their animated worlds are filled with life and wonder. Now guests can experience the many different flowers and other forms of fauna that are shown in these films and learn about them. This botanical garden has 3sections that are themed to Dreamworks main movie franchises (Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How To Train Your Dragon) and are open for guests to explore. This experience is placed behind the Kung Fu Panda Training Camp in the backstage behind it. The garden is also completely indoors as well.
The 1st section that guests would explore will be Shrek's Swamp. A light fog sweeps this entire area, giving an eerie feel to the area. Vines and other plants cover the majority of the roof, letting little sunlight into the room with large trees that would be found in swamps would block out light even more, long vines on the branches stretch down and even touch the floor. Several ponds of water are throughout the swamp, dozens of lily pads dot the waters with small animatronic frogs ribbiting to guests, slowly moving their mouths. The flora and fauna in this part of the garden are very diverse with plants coming from very different swamps from around the world, from the swamps of Florida to India. Topiaries of iconic Shrek characters are spread throughout the garden with the largest being the massive Gingerbread Man from Shrek 2, standing at 20ft. Guests will enter a vine filled path before they enter into the luscious landscape's of China.
Guests enter into the world of Kung Fu Panda and the beautiful environment that accompanies it. It is very dark in this part of garden but to provide light, dozens of lanterns hang from dark red beams, glowing a light red. A small stream goes through this garden with several wood bridges being apparent, allowing guests to explore new areas. Several flowers and plants from China, in particular, Southern China. This part of China is incredibly diverse and it's beauty is shown here, with many diverse trees being present throughout the garden. Many Peach trees are along the stone paths, which leads up to a massive Peach Tree with a topiary of Master Oogway sitting on one of the massive branches being present. There are several temple ruins, inspired by Chinese architecture from hundreds of years ago, are sprinkled throughout this garden with Mother Nature taking it's course, with many vines and plants covering the ruins. A large stone wall has a opening and leads us into the next section of the garden.
Guests walk through the wall and enter into the world of How To Train Your Dragon and the Nordic environment that this movie franchise inhabits. The roof is covered with nets, shields, and different weapons with light peeking through. This garden is a thick forest with several unique trees inhabiting this garden, with small paths splitting the trees. Several ponds are throughout this garden as well, with one pond in particular being surrounded by thick trees but if guests look closely enough, they can see a watering hole with several dragons being seen, all varying shapes and sizes, with limited movement. Many different flowers from the Nordic countries are showcased, showing the natural beauty of this region of the world. There are also several different Nordic inspired buildings that, while can't be explored, just shows how beautiful this part of the world is. In the center of this garden is a Meet and Greet with Toothless and Hiccup. This Toothless animatronic is very advanced with it having a wide range of movement and can interact both with guests and Hiccup.
Guests exit the garden through a thick forest, with them walking on a path that would lead them to the right of the Kung Fu Panda Training Camp.
