I would like if they updated the "choose your ending" since the tech is much more advanced than it was in 2007,

Then what happens when technology advances again within a few years and it once again looks dated? An actual physical ending that can inspire people ala SSE94 is the way to go.

And as much as I love Coco I would much rather a country pavilion that doesn't have a ride get one vs Mexico getting a 2nd

Who says they have to keep Caballeros? Coco is actually more authentically Mexican and in that way less objectionable as far as authenticity is concerned.

Yeah if I had to pick it would likely be the Germany bait ride - likely would have Rapunzel attached but hopefully could include some edutainment on Germany as well

The Mt Fuji coaster would be cool too but not sure they need another coaster/thrill ride vs an everyone/family/kid ride

Honestly, I think Tangled is an even worse choice than Frozen. Arendelle is at least far more Norwegian in its inspiration than Corona is German. Of the IPs, I think the best options for the existing pavilions would be Poppins/Luca for their aesthetics (similar to Ratatouille) or Coco/Mulan/Aladdin for their mythological basis. A hypothetical Greece pavilion to replace Showplace would also work very well with Hercules (Roman name notwithstanding).

I was just thinking today how much I’d love a Tangled ride for Germany. Maybe an Omnimover or something different because WS already has so many boat rides. I also thought Italy had some space so a Luca ride would be cute.

I mean isn't it obvious? You swap the video. Theres zero downtime needed to change a video playing on screens. This is where minor upgrades should happen to all attractions. SSE, Mission Space, etc - anything screen based can and should be getting frequent zero downtime updates. It works on Star Tours, no reason it can't work on other attractions.

The screens are fine IMO, they just need the OLED swap which it sounds like is whats happening. Then replace the video with something better, and commit to updates every couple of years.

The hill back down is a separate issue which needs addressing. Ditch the LED dots and go with projection mapping as IIRC theres not exactly much space for a whole lot else there.

I would agree, and Coco is a great fit as far as merging real cultural influences into a World Showcase pavilion... Ratatouille was also a perfect thematic fit for the France Pavilion... B&TB sing along is a dreadfully bad shoehorn... Poppins in the UK, also a Perfect fit... Luca feels more Italian than Pinocchio...though they are both technically Italy based... Most of the other Disney characters feel generally fairytale European based, rather than culturally belonging to a specific country...Though we know the basic origins of most of these stories.....

The screens will be Genie+ interfaces to help you plan the rest of your EPCOT day.

I think they might be replacing several bits of paneling. I saw some down at the bus stop being replaced last week too.

The thing is Epcot and every park needs to maintain have walkable attractions. Coco will absolutely not be one. If there's no easy walkable rides then the park is no more fun and lightning lane rides everywhere would simply be greedy and using people.
