Trip Report Let's Meet Up in Disney! Where Else Would We Go?

It's the night before Crystal and I fly from the Lehigh Valley to Disney, and we couldn't be more excited. Maddy applied for the Disney College Alumni Program and is currently spending her second consecutive summer making magic in Disney. Last year, she worked at Be Our Guest. This year, she works with the characters, mainly in Hollywood Studios, but she's been in Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and tomorrow she'll be in Magic Kingdom. She finished her second year at the University of South Carolina, and will be starting this fall at Northen Arizona University in Flagstaff.

Brayden graduated from Florida State University just a few weeks ago and is currently working in Peoria, Arizona. So what better place for all four of us to meet up? Plus, Brayden's girlfriend, Bella, will be joining us for her first trip to Disney in a very long time!

Thank you. I agree that both resorts are beautiful and each offers their own unique qualities.

After Hall of Presidents, we walked to Its a Small World

As we excited, the skies opened up! It’s crazy rain and wind right now. We out in our rain jackets and walked quickly to Philharmagic and decided to see the show.

The joke is on us, however, as they announced they would not be using the theatre for the show but as a rain shelter.

Thanks. The restaurant was beautiful and the view was great. From my seat, I was able to see the fireworks in Epcot. Maddy and Crystal could not. The only issue I had was the food was not very warm. Really, not warm at all. The flavor was spot on, but the temp, not so much. Crystal said the chicken dish she has a spicy. I didn't try it, but I like spice. I think I would go back. We have stayed at Coronado so many times, yet we never went to Toledo or Maya until this trip while we are staying at Riverside 🤣

Good morning. We decided to sleep in today and relax a bit at the resort. Planning on getting a workout in this morning, then getting some pool time before deciding on what to do this afternoon.

We are moving to Saratoga Springs tomorrow, and Brayden and Bella arrive on July 2.

It's been a very relaxing day so far. Crystal I and got our workout in. We had lunch at the resort. Maddy decided to stop in to relax with us before heading to Magic Kingdom for work. Crystal and I plan on heading there later this afternoon as well.

There was a brief rainstorm while we had lunch, but the sun is shining now!

Some of the best days are relax days especially when it is so hot out!! Have fun in Magic Kingdom!
