Still quite a bit of work to do on the exterior, ride testing and possible revisions to the rock work (unlikely but possible), and most importantly, the completion of the indoor sections of the ride which we have very little information on how they will be changed.

As with most all construction, work looks to progress very quickly at the beginning of a project while the tail end visually stalls despite work still being completed.

Actually Big Thunder was one the rides WDW constantly gave mini refurbs to.

I remember it being closed pretty consistently through the years.

That is great when you do what you should while closed. Mini refurbished is right.
Like so much of the MK...ran over hours and under refurbished.

One thing I noticed from the WDWRR was how much higher the new building is. No need for the crossing lift and I’m sure better for the maintenance staff.
