So you’re saying disney doesn’t spend on it’s #2 park headliner? Maybe they shouldn’t have wasted so much blowing the park up for the last 6yrs with little to show for it.

What other recent eticket would you like to compare to? Monsters uncahined? Even a super mario ride?

When are you gonna stop making excuses. This is a premier ride at epcot… well… used to be
Riiiiight when it “used to be” a headliner. Current queue looks straight out of classic Communicore exhibits and the Transcenter btw.

Just to say it, for everyone that loved the design a car experience and misses it, there were also people like me who thought it felt outdated almost immediately and didn’t enjoy the experience or how it was implemented later in the ride. All a matter of preference
I remember riding the original Test Track in 2008 and by that point it's outdatedness was really obvious.

The one thing that I'm happy the most about is they stayed true to its original theme and didn't slap some IP in the ride. Test Track shows that not every attraction has to have IP on it.
You can thank that almost entirely on the fact that GM still sponsors it. Left to their own devices Disney would turn it into Lightning McQueens Racing Academy faster than I can type this sentence. I hope SSE can survive without IP now that it doesn't have a sponsor.

It always makes me think that people think that they like the original EPCOT Center, but if it opened today they would howling about the lack of 'theming'.
Unfortunately. These days people think theming means how much it replicates the property they are trying to promote. People want every park to be Magic Kingdom and unfortunately Disney has mostly taken the bait.

Confession time: I’m a ride wimp. I adore the original WOM, and have never experience TT in the many times I’ve visited EPCOT in recent years (mostly due to ride shutdowns and reconstruction, but once or twice because I wimped out.

How is the intensity on this? I love RSR but tolerate the race portion for the theming that comes before that. I also understand it’s about 25-30 MPH faster than RSR.
Can you ride in a convertible car at 65 MPH, the normal hiway speed? If yes, no problemo.

Are you surprised that Living with the Land has a bunch of plants in it? Or that the Japan Pavilion looks Japanese? You keep harping on how you don’t like how it looked but keep completely and totally missing how it of course a thing about testing cats would like a place where they test cars. They don’t slam cars into crash barriers with intricate ornamentation.

Honestly…it’s not really more intense than RSR…you go on some banked curves…the main “thing” is the wind blowing in your face.

It’s always been a decent ride…worth trying. Not for some ridiculous wait time though

I love how you use bad disney… to show how new disney isn’t as bad.

Which is the cery first thing i said… was tt2.0 so bad people think this is good?

And comparing exhibition halls to e tickets. And you complain about comparing to what is happening in the industry today…

90s epcot was the era it fell apart because they didn’t update attractions well… if at all

…I think tests cats is exactly what the park needs. For the kids 😎

Has this devolved into “Epcot is just as good NOW as it used to be”
If so…they might as well close it…because it’s in no way a reflection of “reality” anymore…even a “sensationalized”reality
