This was from 5 days ago and seems to have had very little impact on ops if the boat was only down for a very short time. Probably only long enough to inspect the boat and dock for any damage.Magic Kingdom Ferryboat Service Resumes Following Reported Impact Incident

Just imagine. What if all the money being put into crap new rides was put into perfecting what they already have? Water features, murals, animatronics, paint jobs, etc.
Yeah, yeah, they're doing it here and there, but what if every attraction, every store, every sidewalk got the treatment?
Sadly, it probably wouldn't move the needle on attendance.

That should be happening as a matter of fact, not a special press release...lol And do they need to move the needle on attendance? The park seems overstressed and overrun with guests all year long...so much that they had to create an extremely expensive fast pass reservations and parks reservation for guests to actually get on the top tier attractions....
Attracting MORE people to crowd out the restaurants and attractions will not make it a better experience..... But actually restoring the park, keeping it pristine and beautiful, Reopening shuttered attractions and restaurants... those things would certainly make it a better experience for the guests...

It needs it the Under The Sea scene has been train wreck for months. The same animatronics/figures have been broke. Hopefully they focus on fixing all of that.

Thankful for a new entertainment offering (I feel like this is to make up for all the closures coming to this area) BUT I don’t like how it’s clearly third party, the outfits are always a giveaway. They should be in proper costumes for the area. The flagship park of the worlds biggest entertainment company should be able to do better.

That was my thought too. Saw this earlier on the site that can’t be named.
It looks like Disney is throwing lots of 3rd party entertainment around MK and Epcot this summer, which is certainly better than nothing.

25-30 years ago it would have been their own people, held to Disney standards... This isn't quite it.
