Half the specimens are trying to exploit/overwork you…the other half are searching for angles to rip you off. Give or take a few % points
You mean that the Galactic Starcruiser had a self check-in kiosk?
Wish I would've known that.

Disagree. Do whatever works.Going to catch flak for this one but if you can't pay for a pass outright without dipping into savings then you should probably not be purchasing an annual pass. I guess its 0% so there is no downside of doing it, but they would only bother offering it if there is a decent market of people who wouldn't but unless it was on a payment plan which is crazy to me.

When they’re searching for more business…and there is no doubt that’s the case…you should encourage more business. Especially if it costs nothingDisagree. Do whatever works.
Business on top, party in the back? Here's a quarter...
Only $10s and $5s in Disney dollarsI always pay in full. Upfront.
They take checks, right?
Queue Donnie and the “freeloading annual passholders ruining the (rather empty) parks” narrativeDisney wants to make it appear to be as affordable as possible. Contrary to the prevailing narrative, there are many AP's that spend considerably in the parks and through ADR in the parks and at resorts.
In order to capitalize on that, they need you to be in their ecosystem. Then they can market to you. And it's amazing the way the mind will rationalize things.

…ugh…one of THOSE people…soiling a chair meant for a patrician with your plebian stenchOur last visit - which was for a grand total of four hours - included a $600 bar tab before tip.
I am such a freeloader.
At 0%, why not pay minimum and keep your money in an interest bearing account earning you money.Going to catch flak for this one but if you can't pay for a pass outright without dipping into savings then you should probably not be purchasing an annual pass. How much are you going to earn on $1K in a year?At 0%, why not pay minimum and keep your money in an interest bearing account earning you money.
Yep…why spend your own money when someone will give you theirs for free?At 0%, why not pay minimum and keep your money in an interest bearing account earning you money.
Well there's always Levy County...you can rent a single wide for around a thousand a month in Chiefland. How much are you going to earn on $1K in a year?
This, to me, is way overthinking it.
(And that is why I have a 75% chance of being homeless if I live long enough to retire.)
I think the point is that paying for an annual pass with no interest over 12 months…as long as you MAKE the payments…isn’t the reckless riverboat style gambling it’s sometimes portrayed as…How much are you going to earn on $1K in a year?

Maybe $30-$40, But what if you were buying passes for 4 or 5 people.... I know it's not much but it adds up. Hell, I wont pass up a penny on the ground and but see people who drop quarters and don't want to be bothers to pick them up.How much are you going to earn on $1K in a year?

I can be very cheap, but I will splurge when it’s worth it, regardless of consequences. (I don’t consider paying interest to be a major consequence.)Maybe $30-$40, But what if you were buying passes for 4 or 5 people.... I know it's not much but it adds up. Edit to add Like @Sirwalterraleigh said, if someone is offering you to use their money for free, take it!
For sure. I was just responding to the person who was saying if you cant afford or dont have the money in savings...I can be very cheap, but I will splurge when it’s worth it, regardless of consequences. (I don’t consider paying interest to be a major consequence.)
Life is short and I’m old(er.)
The reality is I typically get my AP’s free with Chase Disney Visa points.
I’m sure I’ve paid some interest at times earning those points.
It all works out.
But I wouldn’t bother or shame anyone for putting their trip on a cc. Some here IMO really overreact to that.
