How do you do an Media/AP/DVC/CM preview for a parade? It's not something you can do while the park is open.

Close the park early? It can take some time to clear out the park of regular guests.

If you do close early you need to have some type of transportation running for people attending the previews.

CM is likely easier to do after hours, but for everyone else it sounds like a logistical nightmare.
Probably the same thing they did for happily ever after, I believe they closed the park early around 4 PM for that, it's the same thing do for those CM celebration events. Which is why I doubt we're getting AP previews of any kind for something like this. They also might just have a soft opening a couple of nights before like Disneyland 70th, or they won't have any kind of previews, they didn't for luminous, I think they just had media viewing areas for that.

I would hope they would announce an early closure in advance, especially if people have dining reservations for inside the park.

Isn't there a chance they could just run the parade early without announcing anything official? Seems like a good way to practice without having a huge crowd descending on the park.

With HEA at 10PM July 6-19th. If MK wants Media before the 20th, it just might be a 9pm Soft Open.......
Could should down just a land too, for Disneyland 70th they shut down Fantasyland for the paint the night media preview. They could just shut down frontier land or liberty square.

Media for F! Was done at the soft open I believe.

There was a Media Party for TRON. But that was March when MK closed at 8 or something with Enchantment.
F! and other attraction previews are easily done during normal park hours, even if they extend past closing.

For a parade preview you would have to close down multiple large sections of the park, including the main entrance/exit path. The amount of revenue lost by closing an entire park early for a parade preview would never justify it.

If I had to guess, they will do selective media previews with their top tier in house establishment media (ABC, etc.) only during early morning rehearsals.

The cupcake brigade and influencer shills are sadly (boo hoo) going to be left slumming it with the sweating masses on 7/20.

The parade runs from Main Street to Frontier Land. Reversing the direction and turning everything around just for only a preview sounds like nightmare, if it can even be done.

So it’s not going to start at Frontierland?
No...Main Street. It actually makes sense. The 9:00 parade needs to clear Main Street as quickly as possible in preparation for Happily Ever After. The 11:00 parade needs to clear Main Street as quickly as possible for guests exiting the park. I'm old, and remember the days of MSEP and Spectromagic. It was usually that way back then, also. I loved standing in front of the Emporium next to the horse barn, as the gates were opened to start the parade.

Has anyone heard if cms have been notified yet of previews coming or sign ups? I think it’s all but confirmed they will be get a preview at some point soon due to them being blocked out for the month.

If i had to take a guess, IF there are going to be previews they would be announced at the end of next week. From what I've heard they have several big milestones to get through this week. If all goes well, they should have a better idea of where they stand.
