They said that AI took over all jobs, and we don't have money to afford Disney. Therefore, Disney needs to lower their prices, or become free entry, so that they sell tickets.
Ha, After AI takes all the jobs that can be taken by AI, the only folks that will be able to afford WDW will be the plumbers, HVAC repair, electricians, etc.... I was going to also say sanitation workers but I think they will be replaced by robots eventually ;)

That's why I elaborated the main differences between Cars Land at DCA and the Piston Peak section of Froniterland. I just think we shouldn't be comparing the two projects as if they are both single-IP based lands when MK's project has been stated multiple times to not be a Cars Land. It's the same as unfairly comparing Monstropolis at HS to Laugh Floor at MK and Monsters at DCA because they'll all feature Mike Wazowski and the laugh floor/scare floor.
That's fine. Don't compare them then. But I see nothing unfair about these comparisons. As I've already said, I think comparisons are inevitable when Disney takes the same IP and puts it in different places.

So basically a location not from the Cars films, and they left out all of the things that make CarsLand fun and engaging.... got it! Sounds alot like SWGE....

It's the same Cars planet. Just like Planes.
It's not just like Planes, it is Planes...

There’s so many levels to this. Taking out the rivers and island being eliminated- the attraction by itself doesn’t really make sense to me. Why do a high-budget cars themed attraction where you ride in vehicles that are not from the franchise through an environment that was from a non-Pixar direct to video sequel?

That really makes no sense to me.

And then you add in the fact that it’s being plopping modern ATV’s into Frontierland - which has always had at least a somewhat vintage / historic American West feel and it just seems like so many odd choices combined.

Frontierland is now Direct-to-Video-and-Cancelled-Television-Project-Land.

For all the talk of MK needing to ditch the "old stuff" in favor or more "relevant" IP, choosing to build rides based on TRON: Legacy, Planes: Fire and Rescue and an undeveloped Tiana Disney+ show over pretty much anything else in their library was certainly...one option.

Okay but Tron was an outright expansion and TRON: Legacy is an awesome movie and now we have Daft Punk on a ride. Lightcycle Run is awesome.

Tron is perhaps the only example in WDW history of an expansion that SHOULD have been a replacement. As it is, it’s probably more detrimental to the park’s future then if Speedway had been replaced and adds very little to MK.

And a worse Monsters ride then Tokyo.

WDW is the budget Disney park with the extreme luxury prices!
Two completely different rides, one a coaster the other a buzz lightyear interactive type. DCA monsters is the one comparable to TDLs.

WDW is the only resort with a working peoplemover, COP, astro orbitor above TL, Spaceship earth, Living with the land , American adventure, Cosmic rewind, Test track, an aquarium, live animals, safari, flight of passage, Everest, the og Tower of terror with fourth dimension, plus multiple resort areas with 4 transportation systems, golf course, water parks, etc.

Calling Tokyo Monsters a “buzz Lightyear interactive type” is a disingenuous description at best.

Your list of “original attractions” becomes incredibly unimpressive right around 1998. That’s a TERRIBLE 27 year track record. The fact that you had to reach back almost three decades highlights the fact that WDW has been little more than an afterthought and a cash register for a very, very long time.
