Also, the Ending Banner is gone since Fri.....
Yeah, just as they got it back too. :( I don't understand why they weren't using that for the past two years, maybe they just lost it? But then how could they lose it so fast. Perhaps even they know in a weird way that what's playing now isn't really FoF. Hopefully they can change that! It's really sad what's happened to that parade.

I'm late to the party on the rain parade talk, but how do the Cast Members know when to stop doing choreo mid-parade? Is it their own judgement, or is there a signal passed down the line?
The spotters give hand signals based on information they receive over the radio. They also indicate to the performers when they need to speed up to get ahead of the weather (ie 'dance faster').

That makes sense, thanks. I can't imagine they want Cast to just stop dancing because they saw a puddle. It was foolish of me to even suggest the possibility.

So.....what would be a reason for MK to do the Rainy Day Cavalcade in the Sunlight???? Because it just happened.......

28 Days till FOF & Starlight.....Let's not get Funny here MK!.......
Florida is known for late afternoon thunderstorms (i.e. with lightning) that just crop up. They were probably looking at a radar image on a weather page/app and the incoming forecast. Easier to do the cavalcade than the entire parade.

Fair.

FOF returned today without Monstro(weather I'm guessing) and MK seems to have lost the Banner again! What, MK didn't like it???? It made FOF look a tiny bit Pre COVID, IMO!

With the debut of Starlight just weeks away I'm reminded how Festival of Fantasy is still running in its disheveled shell state after all these years. As glad as I am that, at least what we've seen so far, money was certainly spent well on Starlight, they're probably not going to spend the money on a well overdue new daytime parade. I hope Starlight is incredible but it does make me sad that they probably won't consider spending money on a new daytime parade because of how much they spent on Starlight. I hope I'm wrong. The most I see them ever doing is with daytime parades right now hopefully giving the festival of fantasy a well deserved break for a lengthy refurbishment to bring back all the dancers, the brave unit, refresh all the floats, and maybe add a new unit, hopefully. If nothing else happens to these parades for the next few years I hope that at least with Starlight coming in it makes people realize just how sad it is now in comparison to a brand new shiny parade and makes them consider at least giving it a refresh if not a whole new parade. But hey, at least they'll be running a daytime parade and nighttime parade at the same time unlike a certain other Disney resort. (cough cough Disneyland)

Disney please fix this parade. (They won't)

It’ll live until Villains opens. They’ll make a new parade to coincide with that big transformation of the park.

I truthfully haven’t been following the cars and villains discussions but is there a good estimate of when that is expected to be completed? No doubt there’s many that assume it won’t be for many years given how slow Disney is.

Either way by that time Starlight will start showing its age a bit especially if it’s not well taken care of, and I hate saying that. It will be interesting to see how long Starlight does last though that will depend on its popularity. Certainly the intention is for many years to come. Regardless what happens hopefully we never go through another drought of no nighttime parade.
