Disney always takes their time with July 4th announcements. No idea why. Eventually a Disney Parks Blog post will appear showing off special food and a mention of the two fireworks shows.
What is the reason to rush it?

Is there any real confusion about there being fireworks for the 4th of July?

Is there any real doubt that the past practice has been to have shows both on the 3rd and the 4th? Unless there is some major change to that, why is there a need to push out an announcement

MK July 3-4th, Epcot on the 4th has been the standard for Decades but a Confirmation is always nice!

Here's hoping MK extends it to at least, midnight, on both days.

Also, on July 4th, Epcot should close a couple of hours later than the usual 9pm, but I don't see this happening. It's always been mind-boggling to me that the most 'adult appealing' park, closes so early. They're losing revenue here, imo.
There's no question, they are losing revenue by closing EP at 9pm...which is ridiculous from May to October.

I can't fathom Epcot not doing a July 4th Tag. The Questions are: where will the Final Barge be? Also, if Epcot can get their messaging right if The Tag is only on the 4th. Not both 3-4th........
It says heartbeat of freedom, so that would imply same show as last year unfortunately

Not really, Epcot had Heartbeat of Freedom since 2006(correct me if it was earlier), but the Final Barge just moved behind AA last year.

Does Celebrate America & Heartbeat Of Freedom get Tested every Year? If Epcot has a test, we might find out if they learned anything......

Epcot SOMETIMES has a overnight test a few days prior but rarely happens

I do hope it moves back over the lagoon this year even though my tradition of seeing it is over since I moved to California..

Guess I’ll just have to go to DCA this year 🤪

Ah ok. I thought the name was new with the new show.
