To the teachers on here. Is having Doordash/GrubHub/Uber to school a thing?

I was reading Reddit and apparently students are ordering lunch through the apps.

I know it doesn't happen at my old high school because my mom would be complaining about it. She works in the bubble. I tell her to retire all time if she doesn't like it but she wants one or two more years for the money. Unlike the younger people, she will get socially security.

Nope, but I work in a rural school district so DoorDash isn’t a thing in our area. And the only students that can leave at lunch are seniors so they go to the gas station/subway or the coffee shop in town, if they leave at all.

It doesn't happen at my elementary schools. Sorry that I can't shed any light on that topic.

Over here, the kids are usually allowed to leave campus and the schools are all close to a grocery store...there are no school lunches over here. But my son went to a special education school for kids with Autism and/or ADHD, and they weren't allowed to leave school. They DID order pizza once and tried to have it delivered through the window to their classroom, but the delivery person wouldn't do it.

Daisy is a 3kg shih-tzu. She’s quite small for her breed.

I’m sure there’s nothing purebred about her - she lacks the typical underbite and buggy eyes, and her face is less smooshy than most. We bought her in the early COVID days to comfort us through months and months of rolling lockdowns. She was a literal life saver.
