I don't think Ive ever had a hot dog there. Maybe a bite of someone else's and I don't think it was bad. There again I'm happy with a Costco hot dog with mustard on it. They had a Philly Cheesesteak seasonal item a few years back that was really good with the film strip fries. Like real world good. Not theme park good.
Perhaps I've just wound up on the wrong side of the seasonal food lottery then. It seems like it's been awhile since they had a non-hot dog marquee item when I've been in the park.

Maybe Im really not sure. I Feel like with seasonal stuff someone like my sister needs to tell me it's good before I try it. Otherwise I don't even know about them unless they went viral.

I got my first hot dog there a month or so ago. Soggy bun, overloaded with junk to make it require sitting and eating at a table. I bought a hot dog so I could eat as I walked, nope. These are like baked potatoes, if only the potato was incredibly soggy bread.

I think they can be hit or miss, like most hot dog places. I personally like the Chili Dog myself, but yeah it can be loaded (which I personally like) so can't walk around with it.

If you don't want a loaded dog, just order the all beef dog and you can walk around with it.

sounds awful. Maybe im a simple man but I still haven't found a better hot dog than Costco.

The only hot dogs I like are on the golf course or at a sporting event, I have no idea why but I associate hot dogs with sports and they just never taste good if sports aren’t somehow involved. I’ve had a few specialty dogs at Disney over the years that were pretty good but I can’t imagine choosing a plain hot dog at Disney over the hundreds of other options.

Nothing beats a little Red Cart Corn Dog though, that’s as Disney as it gets.

Have you had the dog at Costco for $1.50 that comes with a soda? Soft sesame seed bun + plump all beef dog. It's what I thought a Dodger Dog was going to taste like when I was a kid and everyone raved about them.
I’ve had it and yeah it’s in the top echelon of hot dogs but just not my absolute favorite. Although different Costcos use different rolls and mine doesn’t use those Francisco sesame seed rolls which I’ve heard are quite good!

And for the price, it’s absolutely better.

Y’all should make a trip to the northeast someday and experience an Italian Hot dog - a long deli quality hot dog (thumans, boars head, etc) on a sub roll with fried onions , peppers and potatoes. Glob dark mustard on it and bam it’s pure heaven

The best thing is that I believe Costco loses money on them, but doesn’t care. They want to maintain that price.

The founder is truly a passionate hot dog man. And they’ve been $1.50 since they started in 1985. I love it.

they never themed entire showbuildings just the part that guests can see from inside the park lol. 360 builds only apply to attractions guests in the park can walk/ride a train around.

I really dont understand how people cant comprehend the difference between the 2 lol.
I'd argue that with the back of avatar being so close to the eastern gateway, it does apply in this situation.

It’s fun to armchair imagineer… when it’s based in reality. What could a landlocked straightaway street fully exposed and in full view from the hub be rethemed to? Aside from BVS which is what they should do but isn’t really much of a retheme. Marvel “New York” Street? Also consider Cathay isn’t going anywhere.

Re-theme it to an orange grove. Re-theme it to Tiana's Foods. Anything is better than the tacky early-2000s "Hollywood" theming.

I have never disagreed with a single sentence so passionately as this one you have written.

LOL I am incredulous. What am I missing? Tell me what to order, I'll try it and post a review in this thread.

Haha I know you’re joking but 🤢 at the thought of Tiana’s Foods. An Orange Grove though … 🤔

Obviously considering all factors/ constraints Hollywood Blvd needs to remain a “street.” So there really aren’t many options or wouldn’t be worth any major investment. So a BVS-type upgrade is probably the best case scenario. You re talking from Disney Junior to Animation Building on one one side of the street and from that little generic merch shop to Award Weiners on the other. Not sure what the fate of Smoozies and the facades on the end of the street is.
