lol. I hear the interior is better. Flooded instead of that flume/ canal. But the magic of IASW for me is the exterior so yeah cant imagine Id love it.

It's not. I'm fairly confident DL's has more dolls. I re-rode MK's in 2023; this is subjective, but IMO the staging is inferior, the scenes are less memorable, and the ride just doesn't flow as well overall. DL’s finale, with its triumphant music, is more powerful (definitely scared the 70th anniversary update will ruin this).

I'll concede that the flooded rooms are gorgeous. But I like the janky World’s Fair vibe at Disneyland, drop ceiling tile and all.

No ceiling tiles in Florida?

No one mentioned seeing Sleeping Beauty Castle…?
The last thing a fish discovers is the water around him...

Of course you're right. Easily the most iconic moment, your first and last sight, are standing on Town Square looking down MS towards the castle. Few sights in the entire world can rival that one.

I'll complete my top 5 with specifically iconic DL moments rather than personal nostalgic ones, because my childhood memories are WDW, not DL.

#2 Hearing When You Wish Upon a Star beneath the castle gate. You're in Walt's park now, the place where it all began.

#3 That lantern in Walt's apartment window as you leave. Over the top sentimentalism? That's not what you think after a good day in the park. Leave that light on for Walt, really. He made the world better. Disney means something in my life.

#4 Standing in the middle of FL, having the choice of five fabulous classic dark rides within twenty meters from where you're standing.

#5 Sailing through the whale's mouth on the Storybook Canal. Classic, charming, exciting. Such a DL only moment.
