I’m taking a page from @Tuvalu 's playbook and combining our 2025 adventures together. Perhaps I’ll even keep it (mostly) updated?? Lol

Day 9 May 6th

I was the one up early today, which is usually the case back at home. I think I was finally caught up with a somewhat normal amount of sleep, if that was possible in Disney. lol. It was hard to believe that today would be our last full day. What was odd is that it wasn’t that I was sad to leave Disney so much as I just was sad to go back to my not so normal life. I hate feeling that way, but searching to find ways to not be so stressed out with everything going on at home gets more and more difficult. Plus the thought of going back to New York and leaving the beautiful palm trees in Florida was a little depressing. I count the days till I can call the sunshine state my home permanently.

I walked down to the breakfast area for some coffee, but Mickey waffles called my name. I’m not sure if they would be a disappointment after our breakfast yesterday. Lol

I was also tracking our flight back to Newark. Up until today, every flight from Orlando to Newark had been delayed an average of three hours. I checked today’s flights even though we weren’t scheduled to fly until tomorrow. Today’s flights as of 7 AM were all on time with the first flight leaving Orlando at 11 AM. I figured it would give us an idea of what was going to happen the following day. And while it was unfortunate that we may look at being delayed, it didn’t look like any flights were being outright canceled.

Julia and I decided to go out to the hot tub at 8 AM. We hung out there for about an hour. I was so happy that the hot tub was actually hot today. We were relaxed and chatted before heading back to the room to get ready to have our last full day of play.

Around 10:30, we left for Magic Kingdom and arrived around 11 AM. We probably have the most friendly Lyft driver that we had all this week. She was very sweet.

Walking into Magic Kingdom it seemed really crowded. Main street was super congested. I thought it was odd because today was a good to go day so we didn’t need a reservation.

You know where we were headed first... I had made a return time for Buzz, but quickly changed it to Laugh Floor when I saw that there was a 40 min wait. Another sign that MK was really busy!

During the show, Mac & Jeeves called out Ross and Hope for being their Number 1 fans and sang the new national anthem for New York! I had one vary happy Hope!

I should say... Even though we spent a few nights in MK, this was our first and only entire day here. It was strange because MK was usually the park where we spent the most time.

After Monsters, we rode Buzz, I was so close to Galactic hero, but nope, didn't get it.

We watched Carousal of Progress. Wait, do you watch CoP or ride it?

Then we ventured into Space. I was going to sit this one out, but decided to ride. After, my hip yelled at me and said I should have sat it out!

After Space, we mobile ordered from Cosmic Rays. It was crazy busy!! We had to stalk out a table!

When we were finishing up, we saw a family looking distressed while searching for a table, so Ross walked over to them and led them to us so they could have ours. They were VERY appreciative.

As we were riding Pirates of the Caribbean, the family in the row behind us decided to go into Magic Kingdom planning mode. I just don’t understand how you wait in line or pay all that money for the lightning lanes and then not even pay attention to the ride that you are on. They had to book 3 lightning lanes because they realized the ones that had were all used. So they went and discussed the times, locations and dinner plans and then finally made their decisions. All of which were for later in the day. Then Mom decides she doesn’t like the pirate "smells". She said the ride was horrible because of the small and it was making her sick. I was tempted to inform her that she could get a candle with the POTC small, but I behaved. For the record, I obtained all this unsolicited info because they were so loud, I didn't have a choice!

Then we went under the sea with Ariel. What's up with the scary Ariel? She wasn't moving!

As we walked by Beast's castle, Julia and I reminisced about Be Our Guest Restaurant when it had the awesome breakfast. It is so missed!

Then off to the 100 acre woods.

It was getting near time to watch HEA. I picked up a cold brew.

The girls wanted to ride Buzz one last time since the next time they would be at MK would be when its under refurbishment.

After my celebration, Ross, Hope and I found a spot to settle in and wait for HEA. Ross picked up some ice-cream for them while we waited.

Julia didn't want to watch it. I don't know what's wrong with her! lol. She decided instead to go ride Jungle Cruise.
