So I'm guessing Restaurantosaurus and Dinosaur will close at the same time with the rest of Dinoland USA in 2026? If that's so, I'm guessing they'll close the entirety of Dinoland USA by early 2026 because of the Indiana Jones retheme of Dinosaur?

I think they are waiting to get the Zootopia show open before closing another attraction at Animal Kingdom

You would hope, considering even if the Boneyard, Triceratops, and carnival games are/were minor attractions, you're still losing a lot in a park with not a ton to begin with, with ITTBAB also gone. They need to open something new before just closure after closure, especially considering the admission price isn't discounted (lol) to make up for all these things being closed.

Coincidentally Shanghai Disney has also just replaced their excavation site play area with a traditional playground in Adventure Isle. It's nothing super exciting but it looks well themed and fits the area

Play areas are always good. Would have been bad to have lost one that isn't replaced. Don't expect it to measure up to the Boneyard, but it appears to be pretty sizable on @lentesta 's map.

And hopefully they stay around the same height/size. If they dumb them down to toddler level excitement like the ones in Epcot they'll be a net negative..

Probably, there doesn't seem to be any space for any new animal exhibits or petting zoos based off of permits, so I really doubt there's going to be any animal exhibits with TA when it opens

I don't think Disney ever explicitly flat out stated "no animals" but they also have never even implied there would potentially be some and everything from insiders has said there won't be any and reading the permits, etc seems to indicate there isn't spot for any, etc. ... so think most people were just operating as if there won't be aby

Weird because, Capybaras. But I'm sure if people wanna see Capys they'd be easy to grab and put in. After all, they're becoming more invasive in Florida.

The stuff near the crane is sheet pile. They may be creating a new retaining wall further back.

I guess this confirms that the new rides are just going to be a Pile of Sheet.

The look comparable.

Disney hasn't said it yet, but I expect some sort of natural shade and a water feature in the play area.

The water feature would go hand-in-hand with the ride story likely being based on water.
