Trip Report Title TBD

It’s hard to come up with a title ahead of time when you’re not going for any specific reason. I’ll figure out something eventually though…..

We hadn’t even left Pittsburgh & this was already starting.

Today was a fun, yet lazy day. The guys went golfing this morning at The Palm. They had a 9:30 tee time. I turned into R & fell back to sleep after they left!! At least I do it where I’m supposed to!!🤣🤣🤣

E had went to do some monorail shopping etc. But the time I got moving H texted me to say she was going to MK to get lunch. I told her I’d meet up with her. On the way there E texted me to see if I wanted her to add me to the reservation she was in line to get at Trader Sam’s.

I popped in MK briefly to burn the LL’s I had purchased previously for H, E & myself (which we were super late for BTW).

H & I hit Jungle Cruise.

Then went Under the Sea.

The guys went back to The Boardwalk except for T. He met us there so he & H could ride a few rides before heading back to get ready for dinner.

I took the monorail to The Polynesian & met E at Trader Sam’s.

J hung out at the pool for a bit until it was time to get ready for dinner.
We got to The Contemporary & went to The Outer Rim before dinner to meet up with friends!!

It was so nice to see Tony again!! We caught up for a bit-not long enough but I’m glad it happened!! There was another friend with us but I don’t have photographic evidence!!🤔

Time for dinner at California Grill!!

After dessert we headed out to watch the fireworks.

What an absolutely fun day you all had doing your own thing before meeting up for dinner! I know how much R enjoys his golf time when at Disney, so it was extra special to bring J along for the first time! I have to say that you all look so great even with the heat index at Disney!!! I always feel like I look like a sweaty mess when I'm there walking around in the hot weather! 🤣 We always try to dine at CA Grill each trip even though it's way too much food with the fixed price menu!

We pretty much stayed in our villa until checkout which was at 11. We did the walk of shame & dropped our luggage off with bell services.
We walked over to Epcot to get the Skyliner so we could head to brunch at Topolino’s!!
The food was good but the service was very disappointing. I’ll touch more on that later.

After brunch we went to Epcot. We met up with H & T so we(minus E & R)could ride Guardians.

Wait times were very low. This was a walk on but we didn’t go on. R & E had while we were on Guardians & H & T went earlier.

Soarin’ was a 10 minute wait so we were going there.

We have been sitting at the airport since 5:00 for our 7:30 flight. The time has changed 30 times at least, I swear.

S’s flight was due to leave at 6:30. After sitting on the plane for about 1 1/2 hours they pulled them off. They are going to reboard them but they said it’s going to be awhile. Ironically, his plane is now in the gate where ours is supposed to be(if it ever gets here)!!

Give me a few days & I will reply to your comments & add some final thoughts to this!! Thanks everyone for following along!!

Thought about you yesterday.

Went to my local record/CD store. Each week they feature an artist or band to highlight and have a sale on said artist’s/band’s CDs/vinyls. This week’s featured artist was (you guessed it) Rick Springfield…..…..But it doesn’t end there. As I was perusing around, I noticed something in the back.


An employee. Laying on a bunch of record boxes. Taking a (brace yourself) nap. With Jessie’s Girl playing throughout the store.


The R vibes were off the charts.



Hope y’all (eventually) make it home safely!

I am petrified of mice. You know how they say “they’re more afraid of you than you are of them?” Not this time. He would not vacate the premises. So, what did I do?

Jumped up on the side wall that’s about 2 feet off the ground. You know how parents are normally telling their kids not to climb on it? Yeah, that was me climbing up there. A gentleman, obviously recognizing my fear, helped me down when we thought the coast was clear & tried to scare him away so he wouldn’t run by me. Ugh, I think I’m scarred for life.

And, in my eyes, he was huge for a mouse!!

Would You Rather: Mouse or Snake? I, too, was there this week and was greeted by this guy when I got off the bus at MK. Nothing says “Welcome to MK” better 😂

Well, the delay certainly sucked I'm sure but besides that, you all seemed to have a fun last day in the parks! You must be exhausted today! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure once again which is always so entertaining!!!

As far as I’m concerned, R has legend status! His ability to nap anywhere and everywhere is impressive! If WDW gave out awards, he’d win best supporting family member in a Trip Report.

He went all the way to COP to take a nap? Wasn't Hall of Presidents closer? And quieter? That is prime nap real estate there!
