I love the idea of new entertainment coming in. I'll have to see these in person, as the initial reaction was a strong groan at these specific ideas. (Not the performers but the concept.) It feels a lot like corporate trying to be relevant. But, addition is addition, no doubt. I just hope this is a test and not a band-aid. (As the competition IS showing marked improvement in this area, I would say.)

You have so many Audio-Animatronic characters you could turn into face characters, such as:

Alec Tronic
Bonnie Appetit
Buzzy
The Brother and Sister from Meet The World
Dreamfinder
The Grandparents from Horizons
Several of the characters from World of Motion(the Centaur, Fat Woman with umbrella, Police Officer on motorcycle to name a few.)

I'm not trying to harp on the people playing Miss Information and Al, but you really couldn't try to bring back characters that people clearly love and want to see back in the park?

Half of these are such deep cuts that even seasoned fans would probably have a difficult time recognizing them, and the others aren't much better. Disney is pretty keen on never mentioning Buzzy again as well.

I am increasingly convinced that a lot of Old Epcot fans don't actually want a park in the vein of Old Epcot, they just want to reminded of stuff from Old Epcot over and over. Like it's its own IP to be meaninglessly milked. Repeatedly, the only suggestion for how to make something in Epcot special is "reference old thing". It's shallow and boring.

While I'm not a huge fan of the choice to use what looks like a fairly generic circus act, the robot thing sounds very cute. A+ idea, I'll look for it the next time I'm in to see if I like it in action.

And I would take the generic circus act over Encanto sing along any day. Too bad we have both.
